HeavenScent Cafe & Gastro Bar reviews
34Friendly staff setup in a very nice location. Wide variety of dishes and drinks to order from. Ranging from cafe cuisine to bar food.
Great venue and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. My dish was a little disappointing for what I expected but my friends order looked very good. Overall a fan of the place but wouldn't order the same again.
Great venue, suits live music, friendly welcoming staff. Great menu prices Great food. Worth going any time of day.
Super comfortable setting. Delicious pies, fresh salads and great coffee. One of my favorite Auckland spots
Amazing views can see the sky tower during the night, great place to study too, it’s open long hours and they serve beverages as well as wifi
Ok. I have to admit, it was not my intention to come here. I was really looking for The Grove and since they were closed this was right next door and up stairs. What an adorable place with a variety of fresh foods, filtered water, charming ambiance and a full bar of coffee, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. No AC but the seating area is charming overlooking the near by park and church. And did I mention free wifi.
Incredible food. Lovely ambience. Sometimes a bit slow on the delivery, but it's worth the wait
I have worked around this area for years and didn't know they were there. Superb location, historical building with a great layout, just superb food and coffee, great staff.
Ordered a cup of coffee and 2 slices of toasts with butter and jam. Coffee arrived soon after I sat down. It was alright.
17 minutes later, my toasts have arrived. The toasts looked oily and they tasted like bacon. I suspect it was cooked in a pan with bacon fat. I wasn’t complaint straightaway about it as I needed to rush off.
The management really needs to have some words with the kitchen. Why take 17 minutes to prepare 2 slices of toast? I asked for toasts, not toasts with bacon flavour. Just put the bread in a toaster and you will be fine.
Not a happy customer.
Met a friend for lunch. Grabbed a free table only to discover it was really sticky, so moved to another, same issue. Another diner was there and mentioned that all the smaller tables were sticky and he moved to a sofa area. They didn't appear to be not cleaned, so may be they need resurfacing. It was so sticky that my glass of water was sticking to the table! I had a scone, which was really dry and had a very strong taste of raising agent either baking powder or baking soda. Food prices are at the upper end of the scale. Would not rush back.
Post script: Thank you Praveen for taking the time to respond and the action taken. I will visit next time I am in Auckland.
Delicious! Brought a pie to eat there and one to take home. A very relaxed and quiet, with enviable window seating. Bring a book, order a pie and tea, and enjoy the atmosphere.
You have to know it's there to find it, which gives it a certain charm. Their hot pies are amazing!
Always good food, coffee and service. The cafe space is great. A mix of high tables and chairs, normal set up and sofas. One of my favorite spots.
They specialize in pies, which are incredible but their daily menu is great as well with many wholesome dishes for people who want healthier food. Their coffee is also great.
