Great, friendly customer service. Efficient. Practical and affordable pricing. Got a full service, WOF and some extras. They went the extra mile and even got rid of the blue paint that stained my white car on the house. The blue paint stain is totally gone as if it weren’t there at all. These guys have served me well over the last 3-4 years. Highly recommend:)

Scam artists - charged an extra hour and a half for what is essentially an extra 5 minutes unclipping a plastic cover and turning a bolt, then tried to make it sound like a really complicated job thinking I wouldn't know what it was - avoid

Avoid this dodgy place. They tried to charge me more, I had to argue to get the price back. The car picked up very strong bad odor of old sweat and feces. The stink is terrible and not going away. When I shared the story to a colleague, he said he used to go there but when he did - his car always had problems. Think about it.

Very good service, found big problems with my car. I can now mentally prepare for next repair. Repair made the car a completely different car.

Awesome group of people. I took my Subaru Legacy there because of a knocking noise from the Front Left side when I drive. It was the steering rack where the noise came from and after fixed the noise is gone and my car runs smoother now than the way it was before. Great service and very professional. UPDATE: I've come back to this garage after some bad experiences at my last mechanic (Tyre King Marua Rd).
Just like my first time there, I was impressed by the Kevin's work ethic, customer service and level of expertise.the team go to the extra mile and really try to stick to the quote.
Highbrook Auto picked up a few things that my last place just couldn't diagnose properly or missed completely.
I have full confidence and trust whenever I hand over our cars to Kevin and his team.

Best mechanic out east! Competent and trustworthy. I've gone there for a couple of years now, taken fleet vehicles and personal vehicles, diesel and petrol and the service is always top notch.

Subaru's in NZ are like grains of sand in the sahara. So you'd expect there would be SubaGurus everywhere, well I searched around and Highbrook Automotive stood out, they also helped me out and surpassed my expectations. I read other reviews online and apparently even if you didn't buy a Subaru don't worry, you can still bring your car here, they're very knowledgeable. They pinpointed the issues I couldn't locate and provided photos which I greatly appreciate, the replacement and servicing quote was realistic and the final price came in cheaper!

Alex and the team have been servicing my vehicles for years. They have always been reliable, and fair in their pricing. For example, if a quoted job took less time/effort, they only charge for the services rendered. Awesome company.

My 2008 Subaru Forester was replaced the cambelt, waterpump and so on. The work was completed in half a day. I was impressed by the appropriate response very quickly. I had a very reliable impression.

I've been taking my car to Highbrook Automotice for years and I trust them completely. They are one of very few Subaru specialists in Auckland and have a great workshop and team. They also provide courtesy cars which is a great service.

I took my Subaru Outback to Highbrook Automotive for a wheel alignment and to have the blown cv boot replaced. Not only did I receive superb service from Alex and the team, the final invoice was fair and reasonable for the work carried out.

I went in to get my car fully serviced which siad was 300 he told me heaps of things were wrong with my car which i understood he showed me nd took photos of the problems not knowing it was costing my $550 for them to check the problems nd only replace the oil filer and change the oil. I was upset when paying for this as i didn't have the money to pay for it but payed for it and suffered 2weeks without any money.my anitcoolant wasnt topped up. I wasted my money there hope you dont too
