Only go here if you want to be scammed through their myindici service. My partner and i have paid multiple times for the same appointments over the last few years, our bank statements dont match up with their invoice dates (which always seem to be days later) and they seem to change the dates of past appointments on the app and then invoice you for them. For example i paid them on 1st of may, but somehow my appointment was only on the 12th of may and i was invoiced for the 12th of may.so why did i pay them on the 1st of may? I *never* have doctors appointments that close to each other. I was also only contacted today the 12th of june about the payment i supposedly needed to make for the 12th of may.

We were very impressed by how quickly the practice was able to see my husband who had contracted Covid. Nurse Jocelyn was an amazing, kind, and supportive person and immediately provided excellent medical advice on what to do. Husband was supposed to see his GP the next afternoon but he was already breathing like Darth Vader. The receptionist at Marina Medical was able to make an appointment for us with Jocelyn at Highland Park Medical within a few minutes of him calling to make his GP appointment. As a result, he was attended to right away and provided the necessary medical attention. We are very impressed and grateful for the excellent service. Thank you, Nurse Jocelyn!

A wonderful caring medical team, and just so proactive with everything. I love the patient online portal too where I can order repeat prescriptions, book appointments etc. Thank you

Would recommend 10/10. Lovely clean & modern facility, love the online booking system as its quick and convenient. They also have a check in kiosk in the building which is easy to use. Reception staff are super friendly and helpful, and well supported by knowledgeable and caring doctors and nurses.

Don't believe too much the good hype about this place as I can relate to the experiences as shared by HoneyGirl 92 and Hayley Haslam. This medical center is not that humane and caring. I know this from recent experience.
This evening I was on my way to the supermarket next to the centre and I suddenly had that desperate need to use a toilet. We all know as human beings that feeling of desperation. I hoped and expected empathy from the centre when I went in to ask to use the toilet as I felt that I couldn't make it to the supermarket toilet. In I went and met one of the receptionists. When I politely asked to use the toilet as I could see it not more than 10 metres away, the lousy woman at reception flatly and bluntly refused me the use of the toilet. I couldn't believe it and as I was wishing out loud to her that the same situation would befall her at some point in her life, I frantically went on to the supermarket, hoping that I wouldn't wet my pants. If anyone is wondering, myself and my pants stayed dry out of shear need and will power and I got the shopping done as well. A poor show of humanity from the clinic and what an irony that this this medical centre is in the humanity business. By association I now have trust issues with the clinic's Drs as I would probably have to bring my own catheter if ever I was in need of a consultation.

They did not allow us to use their toilets. Even though we had a ultra sound in the same place. Many staff chased up because we wanted to use the toilet. Nasty people

Recently relocated back to NZ after a number of years in Europe. All the staff I have been in contact with (from the reception to the Drs) have been great, friendly, knowledgeable, and left me feeling that they really care. Cant recommend them highly enough

I have been a patient of Highland Park Medical Centre and, more specifically of Dr. Manning, since 2012. I have found Dr. Manning to always be relatable, proactive, and very competent in dealing with the medical issues I have. In my opinion he is a huge asset to this medical centre. The nurses too, without exception, have all been wonderful as have the reception staff. I have no hesitation in recommending the HPMC to prospective patients.

Don’t expect a professional manner from this medical centre. Rude, snarky & not family friendly at all. No regard for the way the speak to anyone, no regard for anyone. The way they made us feel was belittling. To the point of making me cry. Wouldn’t recommend at all!

I registered both my mom and I using the online portal. Filled out all our information. When I didn't receive confirmation I rang and they said its best to come in and do it manually because they couldn't find the applications. So we had to drive in and fill out two pages again. Then my mom received her first appointment day and time, she then arrived a few days later on the designated day and time and the receptionist said sorry I gave you wrong day it's tomorrow but she needed to be seen so was forced to have first consult with a nurse. I rung up once, I got put through to the nurse and it just rang and rang, you can leave a message but only sometimes get called back. This has been my experience, other than those things the care from the doctors themselves is good. My mom found it a little odd that the male doctor asked her to remove her whole shirt when all he was doing was checking her shoulder.

Don't go to highland park medical.this poor excuse for a doctor practice has caused damage to one of my family members by prescribing antibiotics without taking a blood test to see if there will be any adverse effects. The antibiotics caused an allergic reaction and has damage to his stomach lining. This malpractice is unacceptable.

My children and I have been enrolling with the clinic. Every time we go there we are pretty happy. Staff are helpful and no judgment at all.

Had a phone consultation today with a rude and egotistical doctor, who did not want to hear my concerns about my son and my opinion as his mother. I tried to negotiate a positive outcome for the phonecall but was met with arrogance and flippancy- this kind of attitude, in my belief, has no place in a profession which should be based on patient needs, not ego of an individual. I was advised to visit urgent care, even though my son's condition did not warrant this option. The practitioner should review and reflect their attitude towards young children because at no point in the consultation were my son's emotional needs considered and attempts to negotiate and gain a remedy for his illness were met with patronising comments. I do not recommend this medical practice for families and had to seek alternative medical care for my two year old son.

Superb systems, care and attention. Even under the pressure of Covid and the flu, receptionist was friendly and efficient with both Jocelyn and Joyce providing excellent highly professional and effective consultations. Thank you. I am both impressed and appreciative.

It was a terrible experience at Highland Park Medical Centre this morning. I went to reception to ask about the referral letter of non-covid related claim for my insurance. But when the reception asked my details and saw my Covid record, she requested me to return to car then let me call to nurse myself.

Firstly, I am full recovered already, I had Covid more than 30 days ago. I feel discriminated by your receptionist being a pre covid patient and demanded me to stay in the car. I don't carry virus now, have been tested negative and been well for more than 3 weeks already.

Secondly, the receptionist did not show any respect to the patient's privacy on the medical history. It was quite a busy morning at the center with many patients in the waiting area. I am sure she can see the date I caught covid and know that I would have been recovered. There is no need for her to speak out loud and demand me to return to the car right away in front of many other patients in the waiting area. I feel very ashamed and discriminated.

Thirdly, your reception and nurse are not working together in one centre? Why did I need to call the nurse separately after talking to your receptionist that I need to get my referral letter for insurance claim? Furthermore, the nurse phone line is always busy with no one pick up the incoming calls. I have to leave a voicemail message to the nurse and waiting for the call back. Can't the receptionist just leave a note to the nurse that I needed the referral letter copy? My wife had previously called receptionist to request a referral letter for her claim and she did not need to call the nurse separately to request for it.

I hope the Management of the Center can look into this issue and provide some training to your reception on how to handle this situation better as there is no need to discriminate a fully recovered patients.

The locum doctor today was great! He provided great care to my children. I am impressed with his thoroughness and sincerity. I wish Dr Norton will be a regular in Highland Park Med.
