Highway 22 General Store

Called in at 3pm today. My hot dog had a hair in it (not their fault). It was also luke warm and inedible (absolutely their fault and a breach of food safety regulations) Can't complain about the service becsuse there wasn't any. Will not be going back

Not much parking off the very busy road.
Lots of food displayed in the hot foods cabinet. Chips, criss cuts, popcorn chicken, burgers, battered fish.
Check how old they are as mine were STALE! Would have preferred to wait for fresh or gotten something else if I'd known.
Decent prices but make sure to get freshly cooked.
Too many staff behind the counter talking to us at the same time, made it confusing.

When we are headed to Karaka to see Mum.we drive round Paerata and this spot is so so lovely to pop into for a coffee + all sorts. Kai is lovely as is the staff

Nice little shop with good customer service and the most amazing Lamb Burger, super fresh and full of mouth watering flavor

Great place to stop for coffee and hot chocolate. They also do delicious takeaways from Monday to Saturday.

Pie warmer seems to be hot but when I got my pie it was cold also they add way to much mayo to theyre burgers and hot chips are ment to be hot not cold

Convenient best owners always greeting customers with smile. Never a dull moment with this store.

A Great place to stop for a barista made coffee and a bite to eat on the run. Open from 5: 30am

Nice store, friendly staff, and a good range of food available here. They have some very good filled rolls, but be quick, as they are normally the first thing that sells out.
