I don’t think I have ever had such a pleasant experience with a business that truly holds such honest, old school and incredible values.
My insurance told me my car needed to be towed and I had contacted at least 10 other automotive garages (including the garage I had been taking my car to for 3 years) Unfortunately, none were able to help at such short notice due to being fully booked as it was the first week back from the holidays. The team here were absolutely INCREDIBLE. They heard the desperation in my voice, were so sympathetic to my situation and we’re happy to help me out. Turns out, it was just a stone in my breaks creating such a terrible noise. The team didn’t even charge me for their work and time spent figuring out the problem. Thank you so much for your kindness team. You have gained a new customer.

My car failed its WOF and I immediately called up Hillside Automotive to help. Broken break light fixed in 5 minutes while I was in the car. Didn't charge me. What a legend, Merry Christmas.

Amazing service: I needed my towball changed to a different size, swapped them over in no time and wished me a Merry Christmas, no charge. Fabulous, made my week for sure. So polite and professional too.

I had a battery failure (emergency) and Paul helped me out, came and started my car, checked the battery and did not charge me, that is 5 star plus customer service. Most appreciated.

Beyond disappointed in this company. My brand new 2022 car (which we worked very hard to buy for our 3 kids) was crashed into by a drunk driver. Very long story short, On 3 occasions this company has signed my car of as completely repaired and safe to drive with my 3 young children! Not only have they returned it every time as completed without (I'm guessing) even taking for a test drive because if they had they would have heard the terrible noise it was making but they failed to find the original issue in the first place, which means instead of it taking 1-2 months to fix I'm now almost 5 months with no car to drive. My insurance has proven it was their human area alongside RJ don's panel beating but I've not even received a simple apology. A simple phone call to say hey sorry we mucked up.

Big thumbs up from me to Hillside Automotive who swapped over the towball on my car for free. Very grateful, as the towbar company (Auckland Towbars) would have charged me a $115 call-out fee or made me drive to Avondale. Will definitely be putting business their way in future
