The guys were extremely helpful in my choosing the compactor. I don’t really know how to use it. Was given instructions easy to use.

I hired a log-splitter from Hireline. It was rated at 20 tons, so I expected I'd get through the ton or two of cut logs (that I had stockpiled in my driveway), in roughly a day or two, if I could keep up a good pace. The machine was a one-person operated device with every safety feature built in. I finished the lot in just over 4 hours. The machine was absolutely awesome. I cut the engine when each tray load of logs was dealt to, then restarted it once I'd reloaded the tray. It started first pull each time. It came with a full tank of 91 octane and the refill cost me about $20. At $140 per day, this is without a doubt the best deal on offer in Auckland. I have compared prices with all the major rental companies and Hireline beat them all hands down. More than impressive. Fantastic!

One of the most arrogant customer service I have ever encountered while hiring a shredder. On Monday 29 November 2021, the customer rep emails me the invoice. I replied, "i'll make the payment and update you". As hard times loom i wanted to make the payment on Wednesday after receiving my pay on Tuesday. Another reply comes from them as "Sure, please let me know asap as we already have a customer who is interested in booking it for the weekend". I made arrangement and paid them on 30th November as i didn't want to miss it since i have made arrangement with my work, organized people to help out and arranged a vehicle with tow bar. Once i made the payment i replied to the email stating that i have made the payment and also wrote "I will pick this up on Saturday and return it on Sunday". A reply comes " Wonderful, thank you". This to me confirmed that the deal was on. On Saturday the 4th December, i get the person with the tow bar vehicle and headed to pick the shredder. Note: i tried calling but phone went to automatic reply that they are either busy or not operating.i Checked the website that stated the operation hours for Saturday as 8.00am - 5.00pm. I also recalled the email and thought that if they weren't operational then they would have replied to my email respectively, so they must be busy. Went to the site, waited and called and emailed.was there for nearly an hour, thinking they might be away and will return. Well no luck and i had to return disappointed. My whole weekend went to a waste, including the people whom i requested to help as they had also changed their commitments. On Monday 6th December, i missed their call and then returned it and to my astonishment the salesrep started telling me off, demanding for my account number over and over to refund so that he could have an easy way out by closing the contract. He was not ready to listen to me and was telling me to calm down when i was saying that i am calm. He wanted to put the blame on me that i was not calm so that he can stop the conversation. I said to him that he should hear me out as i am the customer. He started mentioning that these are hard times and went on.i said i do understand and its also a hard time for me as i am the one who is affected and inconvenienced. This man was really extremely rude and totally unprofessional.i would never recommend dealing with this company.

Hired the log splitter today, pretty impressed. This 1 runs vertically, better than the ones that run horizontally. Great machine! Staff were onto it, helpful & friendly. Price fantastic too compared to larger hiring companies. Had a look around & got a quote from a different company, $195 for 4 hours, paid $100 for the day for a better machine. Definately recommend. Just be aware yard located at the end of drive to industrial units. Deliveries to units can make access niggly

I hired a log splitter from these guys, they were much cheaper than anyone else and flexible with pickup. Equipment was top notch, well maintained and safe to operate. Worth driving across town for. Friendly polite team, would definitely use again.
