Lovely food selection, very kind staff and yummy drinks and very speedy service! Never fails to disappoint me

Came here of fathers day place was well busy but the food still came out hot the choice of what sausage we wanted with our meal was great. Tables where clean and the atmosphere was great

The cafe sucks, the food is not tasty, the chef is a terrible rude, swears at customers, there is simply no choice of food, the service is terrible, we bought a sandwich, it turned out to be with a rotten egg and overcooked old bacon - the staff did not even apologize at all. Very beautiful place, great view, but everything else is just a nightmare, I hope for a change of owners and staff, I do not recommend it to anyone and I myself will never go to this cafe again.

As can be seen from my very numerous previous reviews - I traveled often and, accordingly, visited a lot of different cafes and restaurants. I will say straight out that this cafe is perhaps the worst of all that I have visited in the previous few years in New Zealand. The food here is of disgusting quality, exceptionally rude staff - including the person at the checkout and the cook. Sandwiches are old with food that is off, bad smell and terrible taste.
Kitchen person deserves a special, extremely negative assessment - I have never met such an unreasonably rude attitude anywhere and never - in any cafe, not only in New Zealand, but also in any of the more than 20 countries that I have visited over the previous 20 years.

Had the fish and chips. Fish wasn't fresh. My son had the big breakfast. His meal was much better.

Great food, great service, great location. It’s always a pleasant experience at Hollywood bakeries and the Lunn Ave location is one of the best. Enjoy!

Thought we’d found our little after school cafe as we love the view but being over charged for our order today has changed my mind. Won’t be coming back. Disappointing

Still is and will forever be my husbands and I all time favorite place to come. We missed them over the weekend as they were closed so made time to come today as we absolutely love everything about this place you guys are totally amazing

We go to Hollywood Lunn Ave at least once a month for a late breakfast on a Sunday after church.

Oh how far the great can fall. When this franchise 1st hit the Auckland market in Northcote it was outstanding! As judged by their pies and in particular their awesome ginger crunch slice. I would travel deliberately from one franchise to another on my weekly driving around Auckland for one. Fast forward to June 2022.oh dear.the ginger crunch (& all of their sweets) are now 1/2 the thickness. Hopefully the franchise will wake up so the poor franchisees get great customers back.

I returned to this place after long time and still is a pleasure to have a lunch here, the staff are so gentle and friendly. The food was delicious. Thx!

Recently purchased a ham, pineapple and cheese toasted sandwich that must have been in the pie warmer for 3-4 days. Not ideal

Love this Hollywood Cafe the best one I've been to in their franchise. The food is always great and the owners and staff are awesome.

Open on New year's day, stopped by for coffee. Staff were very helpful and coffee was good. Baked goods selection okay, muffins cheap and small. Seems to be popular with senior citizens of the area. Plenty of seating indoors and a couple of tables outside.

We are always given personal service there and feel as if we are one of their family. Even with our masks on while we are at the counter they know without our telling them, about such things as our having cinnamon on our cappuccino. Service is always top notch and if at all pushed for time, they are always very apologetic.
