Super helpful staff willing to spend ages with my 14-year-old daughter trying on riding helments and eventually ordering in options from another store. We're looking forward to going back!

BROKE THE LAW AND REFUSED REFUND FOR FAULTY PRODUCT
I can't emphasise enough how disappointing and frustrating my experience with Horselands was. I purchased a product from here and shortly after it turned out to be faulty, so I returned it to the store and requested a refund, since it was faulty. I was told I would only be offered store credit and only if the manufacturer agreed it was faulty. It took over 4 weeks before I heard from them and was told that yes the manufacturer did agree the product was faulty, BUT they would still only give store credit that expires after 12 months. I did not want store credit and I pointed out that it is in fact illegal under the consumer guarantees act (CGA) to refuse a customer a refund for returning a faulty product, but they ignored the laws and instead accused me of bullying. I tried several times to have them be reasonable and offer my money back, but they wouldn't so I took them to the Disputes Tribunal. I won at Tribunal and they were ordered to refund my money, the "judge" also even took the times to read the CGA laws to them and outlined that they were blatantly breaking the law. The Horselands representative was nothing but defensive the whole time at Tribunal and while they did give me my money back as ordered, they never even apologised for wasting my time for writing a wrong for what I had all along told them was breaking the law. I will absolutely never shop here again, I highly doubt they have changed their practices to follow the CGA, so if you want to save yourself a headache I'd avoid shopping here too!

When I needed to exchange an online order because I accidentally ordered the wrong size, not only did they try and help me in every-way possible but i also received a personal text message when the product i needed to swap it for was back in stock and they had it sent back to me within about five days. Impeccable service as usual. Thanks Jess and the team at horselands for your help.

Consumables are exspensive, Bridal gear, halters quite often out of stock for some reason. Staff not that friendly or helpful. Advertise Hats then told the stock is only at Drury branch.

We really enjoyed the accommodation and the facilities were great, would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing service although when I asked for cheaper boots she gave me an expensive one and it turns out they were men boots. But I seriously don't mind because how different could They be, also they were so polite. Seriously recommend!

Store has factory at back for making bespoke items. They have modified my tool belt, made collars beds and jackets for my dog and custom made oilskin jackets for my construction company. Few businesses can offer this tservice or have skilled workers these days. Also buy my dog food from here.

Good for stock feed even had them deliver when we got caught short a few times out of hay beef nuts etc.hay is always of good standard not always the cheapest but you get what you pay for

Lovely people working there, and loved my dog when I brang it in, great customer service in both the factorie, shop and warehouse. Great range of feeds, toys and clothing (for animals and people) with good brands like ariat, weatherbeeta ect, would definitely go back again. Also has a very cute cat that lives there at the shop and warehouse.

Was given the wrong feed for my chickens (Specified which one I needed) when I came back to return it I was told they wont swap it for the correct feed due to their policy (which would be fine if it was my fault).

Then the lady (who I am guessing is the owner) just completely ignored me as I was talking and rudely turned away. This behavior from someone in a retail position is unacceptable.

Great store for various lifestyle and livestock needs. We buy multi feed for sheep and other bits and pieces. As name suggests, mostly geared for equine. Good opening hours.

Well stocked, great staff, food is all stored not left out in the sun, great range of all hard feed requirements, for horses, stock and sheep, everything required for equine sports under one roof.

I work here - lots of parking, room for floats and trucks. Saddler onsite for fittings and repairs. Feeds for all stock animals. Full range of clothing footwear saddlery and tack.
