Purchased a Cascina spa for a small deck area - has been perfect, easy to maintain, uses hardly any power and a perfect way to end the day

We have had our spa for a year now and we love it. Highly recommend purchasing a hot spring spa. The team are always available to help with our questions as we get our heads around how it all works! The online chat function is great for extra support as well.

We absolutely love our spa. It’s a wonderful space to unwind from the busyness of the day. The service at Hot Spring Spas Albany is awesome. Great team, great selection of products and wonderful advice on how to service our spa.

I went into the Albany branch store to get advise on maintaining my spa and was greeted by Varsha who was very knowledgeable and really helpful on the information I needed. A great supply of spa’s and friendly staff.

Whilst not an owner of a Hot Spring spa ourselves, we rented a bach with one recently and unfortunately had a mishap when removing the cover and accidentally snapped two of the plastic latches that connect the cover to the spa. I rang the customer support number and found Beatrix to be incredibly helpful and supporting of the situation, offering to send replacements to the bach owner at no cost. It was wonderful service and ensures we will definitely fancy a Hot Spring if we get one of our own!

Our first impression of customer service wasn't great at all.we had to walk around the shop many times and decided to walk out when someone decided to get up and ask if we need help.we did buy the spa and our spa is great! We received few emails to make full payment, before delivery.we did go to the shop on a weekday to pay full amount but person at the desk had no idea about anything because all sales people had workshop on that day so we had to chat with the delivery guy with bit of help with the checklist.again why have an unexperienced person at front desk
once payment was made no response.we had to follow up after 4 days with a phone call and email. Feel that they lack customer service experience of approaching people and are very judgemental who to approach and when.really happy with our spa! Thanks

Im appalled by the service i have received and feel tricked!

I got given a price in writing to replace my circulation pump via your service department only to be invoiced almost 50% more than the price i was given.

Mandy from customer service has now offered to have the new part removed if i have an issue with this.

Shocking service!

A very bored and uninterested salesman works here. Professes to know most of NZ Spa's, offers to perform comparisons between his and other Spa's and then can't citing Chinese manufacturing as the reason

Hot Springs professes they make the #1 Spa pools in the World. Ok.if you bought a car from a company making the same claim would you expect them to also provide efficient and premium quality back up service? But instead, if your car broke down or you needed a part it was almost impossible to get through to them or get any sort of support or response. And if you actually did get to talk to someone instead of organising an expert to attend to your problem they tried to give you verbal instructions on how to dismantle the mechanism and (try) fix it yourself. Or, as happened last week, indifferently informed you it would be a minimum seven week wait before your car was (possibly) back on the road. Yes I have heard of Covid, but seriously…do you have THAT many products breaking down?
So as mentioned in other recent reviews, good quality product but appalling after sales “service”. Shopping for a new Spa? Buy a Vortex like we recently did for our new house – over $45k worth of business Hot Springs should have/would have got if they hadn’t left us in hot water so many times…. Figuratively speaking of course.

Our spa is great but their after sales service is terrible. No-one ever answers the phone, they don't reply to emails either, I am still waiting for a part I ordered over a month ago with no idea what happened to it, and ordering spa chemicals has to be done through a secret process.

Product 5 stars - quality although you can get comparable products from other manufacturers
Sales process 3 stars - a bit aggressive. We went with another supplier
Price 2 stars - we really tried to make it work but 40k simply didn't add up especially when we landed with a rival product equally as good for less than half the Hotspring price. Spec wise, the two products were almost identical.

In summary, overpriced and marketed with confident arrogance.

I have ordered a spa from Hot Spring Albany after much research on the best spa and most importantly to me the insulation. I was helped with this process from Verla. She was there for every question I had about spas (& there were a lot!). She got back to me pretty much immediately even if it was in the evening! I am so impressed not only with her incredible customer service but also the quality of my spa, I can’t wait to get it & know it will be superb. I could not recommend Verla from a Hot Springs Albany highly enough if you are considering getting a spa pool. Many thanks, I couldn’t have done it without you! Victoria

We got our first spa pool the Hurricane model two weeks ago and love it. Thank you so much Lee Pettengell for going above and beyond. Your advice and help was much appreciated. Thanks Hot Spring Spas for making the purchase easy, and setting up the pool and explaining how to use it and care for it. I really like the way the steps, cover and starter chemicals are inclusive in the price. And the cover lifter makes access to the pool so easy. Thanks again, would certainly recommend you guys.

Shopping for a spa was exciting but a bit daunting as we had no idea what would suit us best and we wanted to get the best we could for our budget of $8k. We were thrilled with the great advice we received from Lee Petengell in the Albany location, he showed us several options and the advantages of the different models. He was patient with all the questions we had and had a fun sense of humour which made the whole experience enjoyable. The drop off and setup was all included, they made it easy and worked with us for day/time etc. We are thrilled with the spa we chose and now can't imagine being without it!

Delighted with the Matakana Spa we got from Hot Spring Spas. Ordered mid December and was in place in Mid January and have hardly been out of it since! Big shout to Lee Pettengell for making the whole process so easy.

The staff at the Albany branch are just the nicest, most helpful, friendliest, knowledgeable and professional team I know. I bought my spa over ten years ago and at every turn they have been there to ask questions of, give the right advice, tell you how to solve problems. When they come to visit they are so focussed and knowledgeable that any problem gets solved in super quick time. If you want a team that remembers your name then this is the one. They are the very best.

We recently bought a Hot Springs Spa, the Flair model, and are very happy. We were very well looked after during the sales process and very importantly with the delivery, installation and after sales service. The spa is high spec, perfect for our needs and getting much use.

Absolutely love the spa. This is the first spa that we have purchased, Lee was very helpful and forthcoming with his advice. We are also very impressed with the installer (Tristan?) who took the time to answer our questions.

We recently bought a spa pool from Hotspring spa. The sales process was awesome, as was the delivery and installation. However when it first rained we learned that the plug Hotspring supply with the pool is not suitable to be outside in the elements - instead you need a waterproof cover or get an electrician to install a standard 3 pin plug to plug into the your power source. I am very surprised that this information is not passed on more clearly as part of the sales advice or the installation checks

Mostly a very good experience BUT check the plug they provide - you will need to cover it or replace with a standard 3 pin plug (you need an electrician for this)
