Our kitchen was on order before NZ went into the first lockdown. We expected to have to wait until lockdown was over before it would be delivered but ikitchen rang us and told us it would be delivered the next day.they worked round the clock to ensure no one was left waiting and we were so appreciative. When we installed the kitchen we noticed a small issue with the pantry door not sitting entirely flush and sent ikitchen some photos. They sorted out a new door for us, within a week and sent someone around to fix it onsite. So impressed with the service and love our new kitchen! Will definitely use them again when we get to the laundry

I love my new kitchen! I am a first time kitchen renovator and found the team at ikitchen extremely helpful at the planning and design stage. As well they have provided an excellent quality product, which is great value. I found them really responsive to my emails and phone calls. Highly recommended.

We now understand why our kitchen was so cheap. It is made from imported Chinese board that is not moisture resistant. Our shelves have started to sag so much they are unusable. I’m having to contact another Kitchen manufacturer that uses New Zealand made board to fix it.
This is the worst board I have ever seen In a kitchen.
We are so disappointed
We were told all board used will be moisture resistant, it’s NOT!
Update, Not only has the Chinese none water resistant board started falling apart but our Vegi bin has fallen apart. The cheap chinese Components are broken.
We were promised that our kitchen was 100% NZ made, it was not. ️
It’s sad to feel so ripped off.

We recently renovated our house and used iKitchen to redesign and supply our kitchen cabinetry and bench tops. We are so happy with the final result - their price and value is unmatched. We are about to renovate a second home and iKitchen has also offered to do our laundry cabinetry too. Thanks team for the reliable and on time service!

I would not recommend IKitchen to anyone after the painful experience we had with them.
Our kitchen arrived with missing and faulty panels, it took months for us to finally receive the correct panels after receiving multiple faulty and / or incorrect replacements.
We had to constantly chase IKitchen to get a status update, they did not return our calls on many occasions and this was the most frustrating part.
I agree with someones comments below about Ken being difficult to deal with and Karen didn’t seem to know what was happening with our order. If you do purchase from IKitchen and need any assistance then Michael is the person who you should ask for as he was the most helpful but still we needed to chase him.
The quality of the product is OK which is the reason they get 1 star. I would not consider using IKitchen again.
If you do purchase from IKitchen then my advice would be to hold some money back as you may need some leverage if things go wrong.

Really happy with I-Kitchen. Great quality and really easy to deal with. They did some custom work on a pantry that was just what we wanted. We had our second child due around the time of install and they helped out by bringing forward the delivery date (of the kitchen not the baby). Thanks Mike, Helen and everyone else. We got our kitchen from ikitchen just a couple of months ago now. It has been fantastic. We always new there was a lot to do if we did it ourselves including a bit of building work to remove a wall. Their advice re doing all of these tasks was spot on. All of the team from Helen though to Mike who organised the delivery were great to deal with. It's taken us a while to get it 100% finished with tiling and lighting but the result is fantastic and our friends are super impressed with the look and style and can't believe the modest amount we paid overall. Top people, thanks a million ikitchen!

Had an awesome experience with the guys at Ikitchen. We bought and installed our laundry through them and it was just what we were after. The quality of cabinets was great and the price tag was definitely affordable! We will be doing our kitchen soon and will definitely be doing it through iKitchen.

Just finished installing my ikitchen and I’ve got to say these guys were excellent. I did a lot of research on materials and hardware etc.these guys came on tops hands down and the proof was in the assembly and build quality overall. I’m a bit OCD and worried about installing it all myself, again their instruction and info were very good and Ken and Michael helped out with any queries I had promptly. My friends still can’t believe what a modest amount it cost me for a top of the line look compared to what they have paid in the recent past. These are good people doing great stuff, keep it up team.

Even though we finished our kitchen 3 yrs ago with this company, they sourced and sent me a handle via post - all at no charge. Our initial experience was great and this latest experience above and beyond.

Love my kitchen and bench top, it is the most important room in the house and we are so happy with the finished product! Big thanks to the whole team!

I wish I had read the last review before engaging this company
I engaged ikitchen to replace our bench top only, I thought Ken Olsen was professional when he came to measure up and looked at how much room was under the bench because the sink would need to change. The company required full payment before making the bench top.
When the bench went in, the drawer under the sink would not go back in because the sink was a different shape, which Ken Olsen had not advised on, the plumber had to cut and slice the inside of the draw to make it fit.
When Ken Olsen was informed he reacted defensively and kept saying that he took no responsibly for plumbing electrical or cabinet work, I understood that but I expected to having plumbing only not cabinetry.
I found Ken Olsen to have little ability to understand the problem, take any responsibility and indeed to even read an email correctly, his customer service was appalling. I ordered a bread board in December it was finally sent to me after constant reminding at the end of Feb and when it did arrive it didn't fit and was cheap pine.
In the end Ken Olsen paid the two hours, the extra time the plumber took to get the drawer to fit.
It was a horrid experience, I will never pay 100% up front and I will never recommend ikitchen

Ken and the team are fantastic! Love the fact that they offer a DIY approach to kitchens and don't charge an arm and a leg.
