I’ve been located next door to interwaste for years and during this time they’ve been breaching their discharge to air permit on almost a daily basis filling up my workplace with gasified hazardous waste. I’ve had itching, rashes and other adverse health affects because of this. Many times I’ve approached them and each time the managers at interwaste have lied - whether it’s about the safety of the emissions they are forcing to breathe in, pretending they don’t know where the emissions are coming from (it’s their autoclave) and pretending they can’t smell anything even though it reeks of hazardous waste all out on the street and inside my workplace. The owners knew this was happening and they all belong in jail.

We have used Interwaste for some years now, appreciate their service. Ernie in Christchurch has always been helpful and found solutions for any questions we have had.

Some good sustainable processes in place

Interwaste is crooked. For 5 years and counting the hazardous waste plant in Wellington, New Zealand exposed me and everybody else in the area to melted plastic, contaminated air and volatile organic compounds by not processing the hazardous waste correctly and mishandling it. They have lied through their teeth to keep their operations going and even to this day they refuse to tell us what toxic emissions we've been forced to breath in from their plant after asking countless times.
