This used to be one of my regular visits many many years ago. It's quite run down now.

Clean and accessible. Nice and tasty food and at the same, very affordable. $20-$30 for 2 people already.

We have been coming here for years but recently the bubble tea drinks quality is not great. It was bland and the pearls so hard. Their popcorn chicken on rice is good though.

Last visit wasn't pleasant but I had Auckland entertainment app so I went back, I'm glad I did the food took me back to Taipei, thanks jays tea house.

For me milk tea here is the best.
Good service, nice staff, food was brought out quickly. The food is a lot for one serving. It will taste better if they heated it longer.
Parking right in front of the store is very convenient.

Take forever and bad attitude and bad taste, save your time and money and go somewhere else for bubble tea

The seating is comfortable and spacious, food is nice and $13 will get you a nice set meal. They also provide lots of quality books for children.
That said, the furniture and decor is in need of some refurbishment.

Just ordered a beef noodle to takeaway and was eating it at home. All’s well until I found a cockroach in my noodles! I am super gutted！Well, you never know what kind of surprises are waiting for you!

Had the Taiwanese braised mince noodles and also the salt, pepper and chili fried pork on rice. The noodles was simple, but the mince on top was quite yummy. The pork was very good, the side dishes are just ok and the rice was little bit too wet but still not bad. Price is very good here and portion large. The dessert coffee jelly is my wife's favourite and reminds her of her childhood. Spacious place, will come again.

I was surprised with the portion size and the extra sides the food came with. I was only expecting the popcorn chicken on rice but it had 4 extra sides, which were all tasty. Cheesecake was really delicious. Bubble tea was average. It didn't have any ice. I automatically assumed there would be ice if I ordered a cold drink. Overall, it was good.

Would give zero starts if I could! The Fried rice gave my friend food posioning, had to go to urgent care as he was up all night vomiting. Really disappointed.

Great place on dominion rd with parking! Bubble teas are gpod quality and the food is yum with generous portions. Great spot!

I have been there for over 5 years and crazily loved their Taiwanese food and bubble milk tea since day 1! However not sure whether they have changed ownership or chef is not the same, food is become tasteless (e.g. Beef tender is bland and lack flavor.) and their milk tea used to be the best in Auckland, but not anymore sadly.

J has been giving me a lot of memories, particularly when my first arrived Auckland.

It is the one that brings me home feeling of Taiwan.

It is not a fancy teahouse, but the foods, the drinks, the bubble tea comforts me every time whenever I get homesick.

Came on 02/04. Rice wasn’t cooked well, still a bit raw. Very disappointing! Needed to wait almost an hour to get my food. I saw uber eats drivers also wait for more than 30 minutes to get their order ready. The drinks were really good.

Love the bubble tea s here, lychee slushy is one of my favourite.but last time it was too sweet.overall a good place

Used to love this place sooooo much until it’s price rise from $10 to $18 for the same meal (some$15) ️️️

Decent asian tea place thats been around for a long time. Fairly standard tea drinks and food and large variety.

Beef Noodle is really yummy.
Taro bubble milk tea is so nice.
Minus 2 stars for staff.

The meal we received was tasteless, didn’t have any meat in it. We barely touched it and sent it back to the kitchen to order something else instead then got charged double. Very disappointed.
