Jinweide (KingMade) Beef Noodles

Noodles are very good, great if you want a authentic Chinese taste. Lots of choice. Reasonable pricing too, around $18. Highly recommend. The only thing that makes it 4 stars is the service. You have to get your own cups, water, and utensils, and the water and utensils are on opposite ends of the restaurant, making it annoying. The staff are not super friendly. Come here for the food

This place completely rocks. Huge portions, amazing flavors, comfy couches, simple and straight forward menu, everything was spot on. Couldn’t recommend it enough, could’ve stayed there all night. Thanks Gabriel!

Tasty noodle, kids were amazed to see how the hand-pulled noodle from making to be appeared in the bowl. Good prize to have a warm meal in the city center. Recommended!

Great way to celebrate our midweek anniversary. Gabriel is the man! Very friendly and hospitable service. First time here and we probably over-ordered because the bowls are generous but so glad we got the pork dumplings. They were delicious. We ordered a side of broth to soak them as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Third time coming here, best noodles I’ve ever eaten, lovely staff and great atmosphere. See you again soon.

The service attitude is very good. The signature beef is very delicious and the noodles are also very strong. Tracy's attitude and service are excellent!

Authentic chinese food. The best beef noodles soup you will ever have in your life. We had A2. Reasonable prices for good portions. Noodles made fresh to your order and the soup tastes heavenly. Fast service and friendly staff. Limited parking available outside. No reservations need but call ahead to make sure theres enough tables. Also $1 takeaway containers available for leftovers.

Waited two hours for food! Called them up and they said oh we’re out of beef.

Great little restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. An unexpected urprise. The generous servings of fresh noodles were to die for.

On the website it says 15.99, on site it turns to 17.99, the traditional beef noodle soup comes with limited pieces of cold beef and even less white radish. Noodle is not lanzhou style, but rather udon like. There is even block of noodle ends in.
My peer who has been to Lanzhou for months shares same opinion as I. Overall taste is a bit too salty, but not too bad.
Chopsticks are stored end-mixed with potential hygiene issue to me, rather than in same direction as Eden Noodles Cafe does.
Will never recommend it to others.

Chewy handmade noodles. You can customise its form and thickness. I ate the traditional beef noodles and was very disappointed.

The broth has hardly any flavor and the beef slices were dry and gamey. The ratio of noodles to other ingredients was stunningly huge. Sure, I love noodles but dang boy, that was 85-90% noodles.

I thought I recall enjoying noodles from this place 2+ years ago. But this time, i was stuffed (with noodles) yet sadly unsatisfied.

Very nice dumplings for a light dinner. Helpful guy behind the counter answered all our questions about ingredients for dietary requirements.

Look we always go to this place for reasonably priced eats. Order at the counter but the food always comes out fast. The fermented cabbage vego noodles never fails and the beef noodles are hearty and satisfying. Massive portions so share if you need to. Also don't sleep on the small fermented pickles and side dishes. They are legit.

It's a very good place. The braised beef is good. You can choose medium spicy, which is not as spicy as you imagined, and the portion is quite enough. Those who like Chinese food can try it.

The best Chinese noodle place in Auckland (in my opinion)! The lamb BBQ is so yummy! Noodles are fresh hand pulled. I have been here for twice and will come back soon!

Great place for traditional Chinese noodles. Pickled cabbage and beef is a must to try. Large serves, delicious food, friendly staff and quick service.
Good place for dining in. They have tables inside and outside, plus they serve beers. Superior packaging if you decide to take away.

Hand pulled noodles tasted fantastic! Very chewy and delicious. The soup base was ok and the beef slice was kinda plain. But side dishes were amazing.

Very nice chinese lamb burger with lots of cumin, and mildly spiced. Also, not too big or filling - I don't need a huge bowl of food at lunchtime, so this was was an ideal light bite!

Menu isn't extensive but enough to suit everyone. Taste wise falls rather on the bland side but the store has the usual condiments for you to add to your liking. The amount of chili oil that the noodles come with did look frightening at first but it's not hot as it looks, rather a nice and crispy mixture of fragrant Chinese herbs and spices.

We also opted for the 3 small side dishes deal and also a serving of xiao long bao. I can't exactly be sure but I think the xiao long bao was supposed to be six but we only received 5.

Although seating is a bit cramped but space is sufficient. Environment is very clean and atmosphere is cozy. Food comes out fast and though the place was packed full of people but servers were still polite and attentive and ensured everyone was well seated.table turn rate is fast.
