Overall bad experience, got my car back uncleaned and a lot of muddy foot prints left on my floor mat! Customer service needs major overhaul! However, the loan car was great though hence 1 star =)

The service center at John Andrew on Central Park Drive offers an excellent experience with its new location and high-quality service. The clarity in explaining costs is commendable. While the booking system has improved, a more personalized approach to booking, such as speaking directly to the service center, would enhance the process. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a confirmation text after booking, which led to having to navigate the cumbersome telephone system for an answer. Overall, I do recommend their services, as they are making progress in refining their operations.

Worse experience ever!
Booked my ranger raptor in for 2 days because have a really serious problem with the transmission and steering/suspension. Explained what I wanted looked at and told them I've been to a suspension specialist and diagnosed the problem and wanted them to fix it. After taking 2 days off
work I pick up my vehicle and get told what I already knew and that nothing was wrong with itand get charged $360! Now I'm left with a seriously unsafe vehicle to drive because I have no choice! Not happy at all will be taking this further! Avoid using this place unless you want to be mucked around!

Very unprofessional!

I had a small issue with my Mazda cx3 - the istop sign started to flash orange, so I decided to bring it to the service for a check. After googling it turned out that my battery might need to be replaced and the price for the new battery should be 150-350 nzd. I have brought the car for service, explained the problem and mentioned that the battery might need to be replaced. They said, no problem, the price is 175 nzd. This sounded good so I have signed the form.

The problem started when they contacted me and said that I need to pay 665 nzd extra for the battery. I needed my car for the weekend, so there was no choice for me but to agree. So I ended up with the 840 nzd total pay which is ridiculous! If they mentioned this sum in the beginning, I would laugh and try something else.

So, because of the misinformation from their side I have overpaid at least 400 nzd. Don’t come to this service or you might get into a similar story!

Went for a work related pickup. Always find John Andrew to be polite and extremely efficient, and over the years despite personal changes they have always maintained incredible service.

I took my car in for a service and WOF, when I dropped off my car I handed over the keys and they said see you at 3pm. I explained where I parked my car and the receptionist said "we'll find it". No one walked over or inspected the car with me before I left which is usual practice at other dealers.
Upon pick up they showed me a large crack (over 40cm) on the windscreen. I was in shock and I wanted to know how and when the crack appeared as there was not a crack in the windscreen beforehand. The service advisor didn't really have an answer. We called the branch and spoke to the service manager. When asked if a visual pre-inspection check was completed on my car the answer was "YES". We then asked if any damage (Crack) was noted down from that pre-inspection and the answer was "NO". When asked when the technician noticed the crack the answer was "during the service/WOF"
Unfortunately even with the confirmed information from the service manager that there was no crack noted in the pre-inspection check this company is still not willing not accept any liability for your car while in their care. I would recommend you avoid this company at all costs! I am still awaiting a call back about my windscreen as it needs a replacement asap.

Wonderful customer service. Can easily book and appointment via email phone or web page. Will priced. Definitely recommend for Mazda vehicles.

Had a faulty window, took mazda 1.5 hours to try and find the fault and $150 later and no result. Then asked for another 2 hours to try and find the fault and wanted to charge me another $300. Then blamed the fault on the panel beaters that did a repair on the front panel and not a warranty problem, same side as the faulty window. I took the car to the panel beaters and they found the fault in less than half an hour and it was actually Mazda's mistake when they installed the towbar and did not put the fuse in the correct spot.

After 40,000 kms the lcd screen on my Mazda 3 was faulty, This lot told me to book it in, they would get photos and send it too Mazda to repair under warranty, I picked the car up with $175 charge to tell me the screen was faulty (like I didn't know) and said it would be $3k to fix it. They hadn't even tried with Mazda and said it's out of warranty. An after market screen is $350 installed If you feel like being ripped off this is the place to go

They are getting to be a very expensive place lately. Charged me extra for petrol even though I had topped up. I felt like they had ripped me off.

Invoice raised with correct job and rego, however someone elses personal details (name, phone, address etc). Two weeks later, after several emails, invoice still has not been corrected. Not the first time the paper work as been messed up at this place. Terrible admin service, can never get through on the phone. Will not be using again.

Had miscommunication few times where i was either booked on a certain date over the phone few times but nothing was booked on their system or i was booked on a wrong date even after phone call discussion. I have been waiting for 2-3 months now without my car service. I had good experience in past and i always been satisfied with their service but this year wasn’t great for me with JAFMW. Thats why 4 stars.

Recently I had to deal with 5 different places to fix my car and get the service done and suffered for whole 2 months. Super thanks for Mazda Henderson's customized service they provide for me and I do appreciate it as it saved my day from crazy busy schedule. Thanks again!

Amazing experience here at Mazda West Auckland. I had couple of error lights on my Mazda3 dashboard. Super efficient service and everything went smooth. Issue was resolved and it only took a few hours. They even booked an uber for me to go home while they fixed the issue.

Disappointing, went for a service for the first time as I live in Henderson, after going regularly to Grey Lynn. Very busy place, resulting in inadequate services offered and want you to book again for minor issues. No phone call to tell you about the issue, but "book again as we are very busy". Never again.

Exorbitant. Charged $800 for a battery replacement, and tried to charge a similarly extortionate fee for new tyres.

I called in today with a small problem and was asked immediately if I needed any help. The technician who fixed the problem and the bright, cheerful young lady in the front office were a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely top marks for prompt, friendly and efficient assistance!
