We are very pleased with the final result.

The first of their contractors laid the vinyl crooked, & damaged my walls with dents & dirty marks (had to re-paint), & left their rubbish behind. After complaining & reminding Nigel that I was still waiting for the vinyl to be re-laid straight, it still took about six months to be done properly, after reminding them I was still waiting. At least the second contractor laid it straight, but they still left mess behind, & stains on my old carpet, & didn't put the flooring bar in properly so nails stuck out, which I got my plumber to put back in for me.
After all the hassles, including getting my washing machine moved twice, I still had to ask twice for a discount (a mezley $50 off). To top it off, they couldn't even send a proper invoice with the correct dates!

Nigel and the team at John Jarvis were fantastic to deal with. They provided a seamless and professional service, and delivered on time a quality product and a fabulous looking garage carpet. Terry who did the laying of the carpet was a pleasure to deal with. Highly highly recommend.

Really stoked with the job. Both installers, Keegan for the carpet and Bobby for the LVT, were great to deal with and did an excellent job. The whole experience we’ve had in dealing with John Jarvis has been stress free and nothing has been a problem. The communication has been fabulous and the total cost was excellent as well when compared to other quotes we had.

Unfortunately they didn't meet our expectations. We hired them for the replacement of carpets and laying laminate. The carpets were installed relatively well, if not considering some nails that were sticking out too much and caused some bleeding when stepped on with bare feet.

The laminate was a bad experience. The edges were not done straight and properly fitted. Being a floating floor there should be a manufacturer recommended gap that was completely ignored by the installer. The installer slammed the door handle into a freshly painted wall and made a hole in the wall. In other areas the laminate installer stained the painted walls.

The laminate had to be redone, and for that an installer from the company Flooring Transformers had to be brought in to rework all the laminate floor, so only after 2 months the job was complete.

Nigel, Mags and the install team made the whole process so very easy. Very accommodating re the date changes needed due to construction delays, clear communication throughout the process, came in when they said they would, tidied up after themselves and the work is great! Both the floating floor and the carpet look fantastic.
