Placed an order for a 3 + 2 seater recliner in mid-January and paid in full. I received a confirmation email and invoice afterward, thanking me for my ‘pre order’ and informing me it would arrive in 8-10 weeks. When I placed the order, NOWHERE did it say it was a pre order item and not currently in stock. Some of the other configurations/colours indeed said ‘pre order now’, however the ones I ordered said ‘add to cart’, thus suggesting they were in stock.

After 8 weeks, I sent an email to ask whether they knew the expected arrival date yet. No answer. Around week 9, the items I ordered suddenly changed status on the website from ‘add to cart’ to ‘pre order now’.

I sent another email around week 11, to which they finally responded it would be ‘another 4 weeks’. Six weeks pass without news. By this point, all the colours and configurations had changed status on the website back to ‘add to cart’ again. I ended up going into the Manukau store in an attempt to get some answers. They were incredibly helpful and were able to arrange a transfer from the Mt Wellington warehouse to their store. I have left a separate review for the Manukau store, as it would be unfair to lump them in with the online store.

All up, it took just over 17 weeks from ordering to my furniture being ready. Had I not gone and made enquiries in person, who knows how much longer I would have been waiting.

Honestly, any company worth their salt would keep the customer informed periodically regarding the product ETA and any delays. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from the online store is absolutely astounding.

Ordering online with Chat help was simple. I was kept up to date on the progress of my order. Trustworthy furniture store.

Very impressed with their excellent customer service. After my delivery failed to turn up on the agreed day they arranged for the delivery to be made as a high priority the next day. Very pleased with both the items and the effort made to get them to me.

Staff was very helpful with the selection process. Will visit the store when I need another purchase.

Covid obviously causing problems with supply but still found the staff to be very helpful in sorting out when and how my order could be put together and dispatched. Great company to deal with. I will recommend to anyone who asks me about furniture in the future.
