Take an hour or so to soak in the interesting opportunities at this huge second hand mecca. Always a fun store to rummage around.

I had an awful experience with Nicole the store boss who refused a refund on a couch that sadly I was no longer able to pick up. She said if I had been more apologetic she would have let me have my money back and in her opinion I didn't ask nicely enough. Really shocked at her rational. Had always liked J & D but won't be back again.

It’s like an Aladdin’s cave here! You can find anything from furniture to tools, books to old radios, tea cups to costume jewellery. And everything is reasonably priced as well. Plus they have the best coffee, pastries and bread at The Kinship. I can spend hours walking around and still not see everything. It gets super busy on flea market weekends, so go in the week if you want to have a proper dig through the goodies ️

Had numerous items from a clean out.
Richard (owner) gave a fair appraisal and I was happy with that.
Very easy to deal with.
Would recommend.

Junk and disorder is right! What a wonderful find. A lot of treasures waiting for homes to go to, from dolls to outside furniture, antiques to DVDs. However an older gent, wearing an orange visor, followed. Rather he circled the whole shop to pass us numerous times. Around and around, the whole time we were there.
Three customer's, three workers, it was weird and humiliating. I'd love to go back and take friends who would love it there, but I wouldn't want to expose them to that type of behavior

Great little oddbods store which also has a coffee shop on site. Opens as part of the Sunday morning Central Market in Balmoral. Lots to look through with some great bargains to be found!

Always a great place to have a potter about as there is so much to look at. Turnover is good so there is always something new to see and buy.

Very cool. They have come a long way from their days in the old Birkenhead Transport Ltd stables in Northcote Point.

I went there thinking it would be small and when I got in it was massive they have a large assortment of different things. The staff were really kind and helpful. They also had a great selection of plants! If you like unique and different things I would highly recommend coming here.

What a great place. Myself and Angelique enjoyed their coffee and Donuts then looked at all the amazing fun things for sale. A treasure trove for an entire family.
The playboy Mags are fun too as I collect Magazines.

Such a wonderful shop, staff are so friendly and lovely. I stumbled upon this place as I needed a cup of coffee and saw a sign for 'fresh coffee'. So many gems and the staff members are warm and friendly. I definitely will be heading back in. I usually avoid reviews but this is a true treasure.

Love this place. Not your typical op shop as they have lots of new, vintage-inspired items but still worth a visit - lots of fun, interesting things to see. They sell coffee and donuts as well but have yet to try.

Good range of merchandise. Some things are a bit expensive i thought, $40 2nd hand t-shirts seem a bit much, all good for the hipsters i guess. It seems that there's a range of 2nd hand & then "funky" 2nd hand. If u like a t-shirt from the US with Athletics Day 2017 on the front & something like Minnesota Christian College on the back for $40 its still on the rack, b my guest.
