Just a great day out in the Country with winding paths, glimpses of the Kaipara, eclectic sculptures in the woods and a hot coffee at the end. Garden centre really good and a great alternative to the big brands. We will be back.

Exceptional place to visit even though it was dreary and wet grandson, partner, and myself totally enjoyed it. Highly recommend

This place is a great hidden gem and not only is the sculpture/flower/plant garden worth seeing the small cafe there makes the best toasted sandwiches you'll ever eat (the cups of tea were awesome too) They also have a great selection of plants for sale! We'll definitely be going back to see the seasonal changes.

Stopped on the way so didn’t have time to go into the gardens but the nursery is very nice and the cafe was cute. Staff were very friendly.
We bought eggs and honey from their bee hive, the honey is lovely, Very fruity and fragrant.
A nice place to stop on your way

Quietly hidden down a track road, you will find this rather unique garden centre, Sculpture garden walk, Harbour View track, and Don's Conservation Track. It was a very interesting day out and full of little surprises.

I stopped here for a coffee and a sandwich on my way to Wangarei and it turned out that among the greenery that you can buy, you can still drink good coffee and eat something tasty or sweet.

Awesome place to visit. Plenty of parking on site. Garden centre and Cafe before you start the walk. 45min to 1hr walk at a crusty pace. Has interactive installments and games for kids that can be played with. Really beautiful walk flowers, plants and trees. The art was cool too. Recommend to do by ones self during the week when it is quieter. Very peaceful.

Have visited and purchased plants over the years, plants and trees have always grown well. Decided to do the sculpture garden walk with my wife, what a hidden treasure. Living on a lifestyle block I couldn't but help appriciate the amount of hard work that has gone into building and maintaining this walk and the varition in the work on display.

I always get my plants here and great quality. Decided to do the Sculpture walk with visitors this time. My advice, save your money and buy a plant. I've seen more talent in a school exhibition.much more.

The gardens, staff and cafe are lovely, but unfortunately most of the sculptures are terrible.
I do so wish sculptors, potters and artists were taught skills before they go off on a tangent.
We had a very large contemporary gallery in the Uk, and had the same problem with young artists producing rubbish and trying to justify it with a paragraph of waffle. Please turn them down, as there is so much talent out there, who would be delight to exhibit with you.

I went to buy some fruit trees today and Jemma was very helpful. She even went out of her way to see if there were any better specimens out the back and because there wasn’t she offered me a discount. Great customer service!

Awesome day out - 3 walk options, a cafe and a huge range of reasonably priced trees and plants. Highly recommend.

We did the sculpture trail and it was really cool. Its not that long and the sculptures were really good. We loved the huge moving digital clock which was perfect accurate. The kids loved searching for the metal bugs and also the games along the way. We had a tense game of draughts on the big board.
Heaps of parking and plenty of space to have a picnic.

The most incredible place. My mum comes here all the time and was lovely enough to take me along on her yearly pass. I had been hearing about the wonderful sculpture gardens and how excited she was to take me along. One of the most beautiful experiences I have had and I can’t thank my mum enough for showing me this place. The work that has gone into it to build and acknowledge native plants, to the work that has gone into building and acknowledging local artists is so humbling. I came home feeling so at peace. Thank you!

This is a great walk through the sculptures, cool exhibits, friendly team then treat yourself to a nice lunch. Not a huge choice of food but the prices were good and service excellent. The walk is easy, not suited to wheelchairs but not difficult. The musical bridge was my favourite but everyone will have their own

Really enjoyed this place, but was crowded when we went. Has parking for disabled right outside entrance, but man on reception (could be the owner, sry don't know his name) was particularly stressed and slightly rude.
Once we went through 'the door' everything was amazing and well worth the visit. Take a picnic, if fine has great places to sit and eat.
