The team at Kalessi, Lunn Ave, Mt Wellington have been a delight to deal with. I was having problems finding a vanity that was the right size and style, until they suggested I try their custom-made service. They showed me a variety of options, took great care to ensure all measurements were correct, and kept me informed through the whole process. The vanity was made on time, exactly as requested and nothing was too much trouble. I'm very pleased with the finished result and recommend Kalessi's fabulous people who delivered a great product at a fair price.

Have called this show room for a week straight no one bothers to answer phone so I drive in and of course understandable closed for Xmas, but why couldn’t you have updated your website!

Bought a vanity from here in Jan Feb, side started to bulge, dealt with Austin who assured me someone would visit to assess for repair replacement, emailed every month from March to July still Noone has visited! Don't buy from here

We purchased a vanity from Kalessi a few months ago. The vanity was chosen from a model they had on the showroom floor - however they assured us that a new model would be sent up from their Christchurch distribution centre. It turns out that this was not the case - they had repurposed the vanity countertop from the one in the showroom. We didn't find out until we unwrapped everything yesterday and the showroom sticker was still affixed. Since it was from the showroom it was scratched to pieces. Further, the "new vanity" from Christchurch (that had been conveniently wrapped by Kalessi before we picked it up), was also damaged. However, since I waited until our renovations started to unwrap the items and thereby notify them of the issues, it was beyond 14 days and they would not assist - even though they sold us second- hand goods when we paid full price for new ones.

So the moral of the story is don't purchase from them unless you want to pay full price for second-hand damaged items.

Shocking service and appalling product from this retailer!
Our issues are with the in wall toilets (3) which we bought for our new home and which have been an issue since word go. They are endlessly flushing on two out of three toilets despite new parts supplied to and also bought by us, indicating they are not fit for purpose. The retailler is not fulfilling his duties under the Fair Trading Act with his "5 year warranty" being refused either. One of the pans has subsequently cracked on its own along the front edge of the pan and clearly it is beneath the glaze and as if the porcelain coating has failed or perhaps been an inherent weakness in the bowl itself. Despite contacting Nick Kalessi in person and online and being misled and lied to, then fobbed off many times we are no better off and we will be forced to take court action. (He assumes we will give up) Do not buy from Kalessi.

Shocking service. Have not had any return phone calls or any of my emails replied too.

I run a plumbing company and getting parts for customers has been impossible.

Went to Kalessi for the first time today and I am so glad I did! I was welcomed by Austin who was very patient and helpful while I went through all my thoughts and requirements. So nice to have customer service from someone who you really feel cares. I had only intended to purchase a vanity from there but walked out with everything else I needed - completely dismissing any other bathroom shop! Will definitely be back!

We purchased a matte black vanity and could not be happier! Not just with the overall look of it, but also with the amazing customer service from Austin. He is incredibly helpful and so knowledgeable! We've had such a pleasant experience and since we are doing our next bathroom in 3 months time, we plan to buy the same vanity from them again. Good value overall.

Where do I start from …? This was our first renovation project of our three bathrooms. While shopping for bathroom tiles at the Tile Depot, we had casually walked into a bathroom showroom that sort of extended from the Tile Depot. Here began our journey of stress and grief. At the beginning we had not realized that Kalessi was another independent store. (Tile Depot has since asked Kalessi to move out and are now contracted with another bathroom supplier.) We bought products for close to $10,000 from Kalessi for our three bathrooms. Alas, every single item that we bought from Kalessi has had to be replaced or fixed by them.
• Just to mention a few, within a few weeks of renovating the bathrooms, we found rust water leaking into our toilet bowls. Kalessi changed all three rusty pipes in the flush tanks blaming the supplier for poor quality metal pipes.
• Both the shower cubicle glass doors were leaking water from the joints connecting the wall frames to the glass panels. Kalessi blamed the bathroom builders for having fitted it wrongly. A third-party bathroom builder looked at it and reported that there was nothing wrong with the installation of the shower cubicles. Kalessi’s solution was to silicone the frame to the glass panels on both the shower cubicles from top to bottom. We had picked our glass Shower doors for the third bathroom from another store, and we have had absolutely no trouble with it.
• The faucet lever on a Vanity basin was shutting down on its own when we were in the middle of washing our hands. Kalessi sent someone with a replacement tap that started leaking rust at the base, after a few months, and has ended up staining the Vanity. To our utter surprise, the Owner recently admitted to us that they had sent us a “Reject” tap. So now after all this time, they have sent us a third tap but this time they said their warranty does not cover labour and have asked us to find a plumber to fit it at our own expense. They have just admitted to giving us a “Reject faucet” the second time round and now that it is leaking rust, they want us to get their third replacement tap fitted at our expense. Within a year both the previous taps supplied by them turned out to be faulty taps. Frankly, only time will tell how long this third tap will last when we get it fitted.

If their warranty were only on their products and not on the labour, by now we would have spent thousands of dollars on all the repairs and refitting of every single product. Luckily, we bought all the other bathroom products from other showrooms and we have had absolutely no issues with any of them. Every single item bought from Kalessi has caused us stress and grief. We are stuck with their pathetic shower cubicle doors that have been siliconed. I had realized very soon that their products were of substandard quality and I have patiently been liaising with them going back and forth since they do not readily admit that their products are faulty. I did not want to offend them because we were still waiting for many of their products to be replaced or fixed by them. However, it is time that I put this review up to tell others of our appalling experience. It would be the responsible thing to do. Not just one, but every single product from Kalessi was faulty and substandard. That cannot be a bad coincidence! There are many other bathroom stores where we can shop from for better products, and I strongly recommend to please choose other stores. Kalessi was our accident, and we are still hurting!

I bought a lot of bothware from Kalessi, the product is top quality and very very reasonable price, the most import is the service, I have never came cross someone is so helpful so Austin. Doing Reno is a very stressful job, I am also 7 months pregnant.he is been an amazing helper to make sure that I order was on time and gave me some advises when came to choosing the tiles, I love my bath room tiles, they look amazing. Thank you so much for the awesome service and helpfulness. I am moving into my house this week, I can wait for it.

Had a great experience with Austin at Kalessi on Lunn Ave. Bought a Led Mirror and the lights stopped working. Austin helped us all the way in getting it fixed and when they couldn't fix it they gave us a new one. Really happy with their products and great service.

Our bathroom look amazing, really happy with the products; bought a vanity, toilet and a shower to Waiheke Island. Good quality and awesome design. Highly praise Austin for superb customer services and design ideas. The vanity suit well with the Scandinavian looks. One of the order actually went wrong due to miscommunication but Austin was so patient and assist us well. Highly Recommend Kalessi Bathroomware, will definitely come back.

We bought a shower toilet and vanity 5 years ago. Well it is inferior quality. The shower tray was the first to go. That sent there so called expert to fix the problem. He was not. An appalling job. Toilet was an
Inwall. They said they would come and look at it. Never showed. Been replaced. Now the vanity is cracking. Very very poor quality. Our hard saved for bathroom has been a disaster. Slowly replacing EVERYTHING. Unfortunately I cannot score negative

Bought a high end bathroom from Kalessi, they never mentioned to me that it needed to be picked from Wiri eventhough I mentioned several times that my builder will pick it from here which was their MT Wellington branch. When my builder went to pick the shower they said he had to go to Wiri. When i enquired with them they told me that they had mentioned it to me that the pick up was in Wiri. I had 3 other people with me that day none of them heard that conversation. So instead of apologising they kept lying they had told me and told me you should have looked at the receipt. In the end they offerred to drop the shower on Monday when my builder is meant to finishing on the Sunday.

I bought a vanity, which stained immediately, you tried to say it was rust from my water pipes? The same water I drink? Either way it STAINED even after having an old one in there for 20 years prior with no issues. This guy had the cheek to tell me he just bought a Porsche and if the gear box had an issue, that he couldn't expect the company to replace the gearbox when he had bought it secondhand, how does this story even relate? I bought this item brand new. SECONDLY this guy had the spite to leave a 1 star review on MY BUSINESS! I have never done business with you! It took over a month to get the replacement vanity when yoy promised it would be immediately. I had to phone more than six times to follow up! I noted the shower taps had broken, the trap cover and the handheldshower rail had broken - within weeks of being installed, you promised to replace those and never came up with the goods. I'm literally disgusted with how you do business.
