Staff here are great, this was my closest branch. They didn't have the stock but they arranged everything to come from the Henderson store.made it super easy and went the extra mile.will be back again if i need anything else for an event or the weekend.

Hired a fan and dehumidifier after the floods. The manager was very helpful and accomodating. The first unit was faulty but was promptly dealt with and replaced with a working unit.

The staff are super helpful and friendly. A huge range of equipment is available for hire. Highly recommend

I went through today to make sure there really is an individual opportunity available for these year.

Really disappointing outcome with Kennard's Hire Westgate. Made a hire online for a line trimmer + spools for the rates set out on the website ($54.50). Made the reservation and paid the total by debit card. Called the Westgate branch to let them know my partner would be picking up the equipment and not myself as I would be working. They asked if this was my first time using their services and I said yes. They said in that case they would need to charge me double due to recent fraud cases. When booked online there was no mention of this extra charge as a first time user, as I would not have gone ahead and hired a line trimmer for $110 for 4 hours (may as well just buy one at that rate). They said this was because they received this update on the new policy vie email this morning (I made the order around 2pm in the afternoon). They could have at least paused online orders or made sure there website was updated to reflect the new policy and amounts for first time users.

I totally understand this policy given recent fraud, but to find this out once you have already paid and confirmed the hire is really poor service and management. I do not have any more money to get another hire and needed it this weekend. They said they cannot guarantee my refund would come back asap and that it could take days, so I am literally left with no other options. I also went back on their website around 3: 00pm and they still have not added this new policy to their website.

This is my first dealing with Kennards Hire as I'm use to dealing with Hire Pool. Fortunately Kennards Hire Westgate was opened till 5pm and I needed a plate compactor.

Facility was clean, tidy, WHS standards been practiced, professional.
The equipment worked well and they loaded and unloaded whilst I remained in the vehicle.

There was clear communication, addressed me by name, empathy that they charged starting the next day due to end of day hire. And very understanding due to Level 3 Lockdown.

All new plant.especially good to see HILTI.good service and advice. 4 hour hire times are easily expanded to take into account travel time.

The whole place is immaculate and the equipment looks brand new. A far cry from other hire places I have visited. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The whole experience was top notch.
