Joel installed a replacement water bank and rain water pump for us. Amazing service and interactions every step of the way. I have not seen such good service and communication for a long. Very happy and big thanks to Joel!

Really impressed with the service we received today. Had a sewage overflow on Saturday and was unable to use the washing machine, a toilet and a sink as it would push raw sewage out of the cesspit onto the property. Called another company and they said they could do nothing over the wee and they would get back to us on Monday. Monday we did a follow up call and got no reply. Tuesday I phoned and complained and in the afternoon they phoned saying they are busy and can’t attend until the following week.
I gave KPL a call and they took all details and phoned within an hour saying they would be sending someone out. I was quite shocked at the speed expecting another long delay. They turned up following all Covid protocols and proceeded to rectify the problem. It only took them an hour. We had been quoted a higher figure from the previous company and were pleasantly surprised with the price we were charged by KPL.
I would seriously use them in the future and would have no trouble recommending them as they were very professional and speedy.

Bill came out 4 times what was quoted. Bad communication, poor conflict resolution. To be fair they gave me a small discount in the end. I only paid the bill because I just didn't want to deal with them anymore. I felt I was intentionally mislead on the quote, would not recommend.

Not sure about plumbing skills, but one of their van drivers was throwing ciggies out of their sign written van window at lights. Rung and spoke to a manager, his response. "that's not illegal". Nice. Morals of a sewer rat. I would not recommend.

Really bad to deal with, after paying the invoice for the job upfront with a lot of exorbitant charges, when I enquired about the bill the owner responded with a lot of arrogance and when I challenged him on some of the charges he abused me racially calling me an Indian and that's what all we do and don't pay the bills as he didn't even bother to check that it has been paid off, on top of it, this when they didn't finished the job too. I have been in new zealand for many years and have never experienced such a racial non sense, guys like this owner do not belong to such a wonderful society. I will never call him or kumeu plumbing again.

Awful to deal with, dishonest and just don't care. Apparently they were better once. You can't give zero stars but I would.

Arranged to meet at our volunteer lifesaving club at 12.30, person never showed, got a call from KPL hours after the time we were supposed to meet to say he had been held up. Arranged to meet at 9am the following week, guy didnt show. I have to take time off work to meet onsite at the club each time, on top of the volunteer hours we already provide, it is a kick in the guts. Absolute waste of time.

These guys did a terrible job. The plumber was very uncommunicative & grumpy - took off halfway through the job and left it incomplete and the job site a mess. KPL then charged me the full price for the job - and when I disputed it, they took me to Baycorp. I continued to dispute it through them, paid half the invoice (which I thought was fair) but they were relentless. I now have a bad credit rating from the experience and have had to pay the full price to clear my name. I'd avoid these turkeys if you can. I certainly wish I did!

Awesome service. Came out and fixed problem to ensure we had running water for Christmas. Santa does exist. Thanks KPL.

Not often I get great service from tradies these days, but these guys were so good I thought I'd make the effort. Richard was polite, clean and tidy and did a brilliant job. Bernie was great with comunication and all ran smothly. Thanks guys!

Hi Bernie, here is a little review for my recent purchase of Grundfos Pump; runs quieter with more volume and more pressure, its run dry shutoff feature was tried out when we had our tanks emptied out and cleaned recently, restarted perfectly no problem. KPL plumbing installation was professionally done with extra shut off taps put in so the three tanks could be separately turned off and on as required. Over all very happy with total installation and job.

Would not use them again and would not recommend charged a lot of money for something they couldn't fix whilst t he company I ended up using fixed the.problem and charged less money

Sold me a new pump that comes on every time someone uses 10ml of water (not exaggeration). Knew how to invoice me but not give me information to make an informed decision. Had I known it was going to come on all the time I would not have purchased it. Once I realized the noisy pump was coming on all the time I received a generic response that didn't apply and was told if we come to site our rates are $90.00 plus GST per hour with a minimum charge of one hour plus a vehicle/mileage charge $12.50 plus GST.

Not good advertising rego KPL8 excessive noise if you need a plumber just open your window and you can hear him.
Not very professional, I won't use this company, and yes he's driving a company vehicle! Sad really for a established firm

Don't deal with these people. Dishonest theives putting it politely. Wish I could give them 0 stars.
