La Porchetta Henderson

It is very good restaurant. Best food. Just that, due to staff shortage, their service is a bit slow.

Having said that, I will still suggest this restaurant for dinning in.

Recently my girlfriend and I had dinner here, it was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences of the year. The food was great but the staff and service was exceptional. We will be back. Thanks

Service was good.change of ownership, i'm guessing. Last time we were here, the food was beautiful. This time, pizzas loaded with cheap ham, one cashew on cranberry pizza. Carbonara was so bland, pasta overcooked, tasted like those $2.99 San Remo packet pasta. Parmesan shaker was full of chicken salt, which felt very deceptive. $140 for 4 people and left feeling like we had been served oven pizza. Incredibly disappointed. The Reasturant was clean, and the server was nice, but that's where the positives end.

The wait is long and the food is not great!
The girl with glasses was kinda rude when we asked her for utensils and some and she looked annoyed and how she replied was unprofessional. I think she forgot that she was the waitress.
Never want to go back!

Food is good, but service is always incredibly slow. Not the wait staffs fault though, you can just tell they need more people on.

Never fail to impress food wise, but parking can get a bit thin during the evening very busy place

It is not consistent. Went last Sunday Aug 1, ordered Mexicana pizza. It was really good. Came back Thursday, August 5, ordered the same but did not get the same quality. It does not taste good and not same amount of toppings. Very disappointed. It's like eating Dominos but in an "Italian restaurant".

All of this with excellent customer service, all service provided with a pleasant smile on each person’s face.

You may get good food someplace else but the customer service with a genuine smile is hard to find these days. Kudos to the team at Henderson La Porchetta.

Food is ok, not really into Italian unless it's a good pizza which this one wasn't.
Aside from the lacklustre cheese fest, I almost broke my tooth on what looks to me like a small piece of quartz in my salami.
So clearly disappointed with my experience and would love this issue to be rectified moving forward.

It was busy even for a Sunday night but the manager organised a table for us quickly. Ordering was easy enough and meals came in about 20 minutes. The pasta meals were fine and the pizza average on a stock store brought base. As we finished our meals they were half an hour from closing but staff instantly were focused on cleaning. Trying to get staff attention to order dessert took about 15 minutes. We ordered to share but after another 20 minutes it hadn't arrived. The dessert required little preperation, just cut from a pre-made cake slab. The lack of attention to still dining customers probably wouldn't entice me to return in a hurry

I don't eat there the restaurants too small and it's really busy, hot and loud during the dinner rush, but I like their food especially the pastas and salmon/meat dishes, pizzas meh, and staff are friendly.
Downside. Its terribly expensive and they take forever with your order so I order n pick mine up.
Win win

If we are ever out the west of Auckland La Porchetta is always an easy choice with good food for everyone.
Only trouble is that this is no 'best kept secret' so would advise booking ahead for good food, service in a bustling restaurant

Our family have had a few gatherings here in the past few months and I have to say what excellent service and hospitality thank you for looking after us, its always clean and tidy and the food is always great and consistent we will see you again very soon kia ora

First time getting pizzas here in years and won’t be going back. Lacking in taste and paid for extra toppings which were missing. Waste of money.

Good quality kai & good portions. Love their fries, pasta & steak. Never had any complaints & have been a regular customer the past four years.

Always great service from staff. Food rarely lets us down and we've been a number of times. Though the seafood platter tastes thawed from frozen, so not the best. The pizza and pasta dishes are always winners - recommended pollo e funghi!

Efficient and friendly staff. Good food. Decent toppings on all pizzas. DELICIOUS gelato. Colouring for kiddies while waiting on our food to arrive. Not a long wait time. Thank you. We will be back.
