Avoid at all costs! Our personal experience has been that Latitude North West are great at telling you what you want to hear to lock you in to a contract but once this happens they have you. This has caused massive stress to me my family and my business. Ball dropped time after time no fortnightly progress reports as they promise. We have had missing skylights, off centered toilet and windows that me the owner had to pick up on, light feed not pulled through the cladding so gib cuts to find, re patch and paint and mess onto carpets. Plastering issues requiring fixing then repainting, scratched joinery, flooring not being ordered when we had selected it and waiting over month to order so then all sold out, feature ceiling in our lounge was an absolute balls up and then they asked me to pay for the material to fix it, lost a month here paying huge mortgage, wavy spouting that people comment on, poor door finishing re door hardware, screws popping on window sills and door jams that have been filled and painted over 3 times, lack of timelines and deadlines, no transparency in their pricings if they give you a credit its just their word on their spread sheet. Won't send accounts and pricings in timely manor despit requested for weeks despite them being requested multiple times. The list goes on. I have lost all love for our new home and I find it hard to speak positively about it. Now they wont do a hand over because we said we will have our accountant double check the numbers and if we find an error in our favor we would require a credit, yet the bill was paid in good faith. Being held to ransom at Christmas to have it all their way.

Our House was built recently by Latitude Homes. We are happy with our home constructed by Mike, Marc and team. Although there were some lapses, these were just minor and were addressed immediately. I would highly recommend Latitude Homes for future build. A+ rating.

I couldn't reccommend them enough. Mike and Gauri were awesome to deal with as were all the contractor coming and going. They project managed the whole thing so I didn't have any of the stress. Thanks team, you are all amazing:)

After researching many housing construction company offerings, we decided to build our home through Latitude, using their shell plus internal supply system as it seemed to us to offer the best value and flexibility in our situation. This meant that Latitude were responsible for all materials and the weathertight shell of the house, but we were then responsible for any subsequent labour, inspections and admin related to the internal products.

We lived in the North Auckland region, so were fortunate to meet with and use the skills of Mike Ashton and Gauri Rane. Right from the very beginning we worked together, modifying the plan to suit our particular preferences, identifying relevant budget amounts, holding regular update meetings, and sharing lots of communication. They arranged for regular visits and site inspections even beyond completion of the shell, and provided access to their tradies, guiding the quote process on several occasions where it was outside their brief.

Their team saw us through the Covid shortages, mitigating delays and ensuring supply when many other builders simply could not obtain materials at all. On a number of occasions, they even helped with regulatory requirements and schedules which we would have been unaware of, and somehow they sensed when we needed to employ sub-contractors rather than just struggling along on our own.

Mike and Gauri have made us feel as if the success of the build was personally important to them, not just us, and that it was not just another business venture. This has become a special business/client relationship and now that the build is virtually complete, we will always appreciate how they and their team went about ensuring its success. We initially opted for Golden Homes but soon found that any changes/ modifications to design were very expensive. Same time, we came across Latitude Homes advert on Facebook and visited their show home. We soon contacted Mike at Auckland Hobsonville office. They  not only gave us very good pricing for the built but customised the design to our liking without any further charge.

The start and completion of project was as per timeline and within budget. Latitude Homes team would regularly visit site to check things and updated us every step of the way. They also assisted with water meter and new Vector connection. Their electrician Bevan, was also a very nice and knowledgeable guy. He did few upgrades for us and was good to deal with.

We would highly recommend Latitude Homes to all first home buyers working on a budget and everyone who wants to build affordable quality homes. We are very happy with the quality and finishing  of our new home.

After selling our first home we decided to buy land in Waimauku and looked around for a building company that best suited our budget and what we wanted. After many phone calls and meetings with all the common building companies, Latitude Homes were the only company that ticked all the boxes for us. We are very happy with the standard of work everyone put into building our home. From the quality of materials used to the quality of appliances put into the house, we couldn't recommend them enough.

Mike and Gauri work really hard to make sure the customer gets the features they want at a sensible price. I find them really easy to deal with.

The moment we had our first discussion, we knew we were with the right people and at the right place. They had exactly what we were looking for and at the price they set, it was just ideally fantastic for our budget.
Since then, we were always in contact with each other updating on the progress of each stage of the project. Mike and his assistant had answers to our questions, even with little minor questions and misunderstandings. We even planned ahead for the deliveries because we were exporting our kit-sets to the island. They helped make adjustments to comply with different regulations in the island. Their attendance to our every need was beyond our expectation.
