Maybe it was because we visited in the late afternoon, but the battered fish today was swimming in oil, and the fish was not cooked through. We've had a good experience before, but never again.

Best fish and chips we have had in years. Great veggie burger. Had to have it 2 nights in a row it was so yummy.

May be the best place in Leigh to eat. Wide variety of dishes and snacks at very acceptable prices, often open.
I recommend the burgers, the chai latte, and the toast. The fish&chips and the ika mata were less good in my opinion but acceptable.

Outstanding coffee, service was so good we came back for lunch. Fresh fish and loved all the dogs hanging out. 10/10 thanks mate

Delicious brownie, excellent burgers and a fantastic menu, very friendly customer service and I especially love the good/bad dogs of Leigh. A perfect place to grab dinner in Leigh for sure?

Back in the day this was our local takeaways and a few of the girls from school worked there the burger were fantastic back then wonder if they are still being made the same me and the boys would be there on the weekend me Zane dylan Sam joe Micheal tim and his sister Lucy zeb Adam Elouise arnika and many more enjoyed the feed from this shop

A hidden gem in Leigh. A delicious grilled fish and generous half scoop of fries are all I need to satisfy my hunger.

Fish n chips for the family - absolutely fantastic. Great burgers, amazing fresh snapper, crunchy potato fritters and really great chips that were crunchy and perfectly salty but not oily. Best F’nC we’ve had for ages - and super lovely smiley staff to boot.

Fish and chips are great. Not cheap but worth it. Also the speed with which they get the orders out is impressive, considering how busy they are over the summer period.

The Hawaiin burger was was the best value for money burger I’ve had from a takeaway store. Very fresh ingredients. Chips had a good crunch

Battered fish was nicely seasoned and was fresh. However, was a rad bit oily. Could feel the oil covering the entire outside of my mouth. Chips was also nicely salted and crispy. Pineapple fritter was half the size of a normal pineapple fritter. ️Overall pretty good experience, staff were super friendly. Ambiance would have been nice if it weren't for the screaming kids (not the takeaways fault).

You best believe it when I tell you this place has the best aholi in this country, I've had fish and chips from bluff to pukunui. No other place compares. The aholi is to die for. The food is spectacular aswell, while being rather expensive and with smaller portion sizes it is most definitely worth it. Highest quality fish and chips I've ever had. The burgers are also amazing and store has a great atmosphere, very local. Will most certainly be visiting again when I'm in town.

Very nice people here with good customer service. Food was delicious. Great place to stop for good quality food. Was the last customer and got the extra chips and milkshake. Will be coming back!

Really good little fish and chip place with a few extra things. No American hot dogs, sadly, but a variety of burgers, toasted sandwiches and fritters besides the usual fish and chip. Toasted sandwiches are bursting with flavors - recommending choosing no more than two, as three can get very messy with so much between the bread. Hot dogs are delicious. I've been going there with my family for years and have never been disappointed.
