I would love to share my experience at the botany store. When we entered the store on a weekend, it was just us and there was one more customer. The store guy was busy catering to the other customer and my husband was not happy that we were not looked after. He insisted to leave the store. I explained to my husband, let’s wait for him to finish catering to the customer who came before us.
The store guy (sorry I don’t remember the name but an Asian nice guy) then came to us once he was finished with the previous customer.
And HE changed my husband’s mind instantly. He showed us heaps of options on pendant lights and also gave suggestions based on our likings. We were very happy with the customer service and the reasonable pricing. We ended up buying an antique chandelier which I love it. Thank you for helping us choose as we were so confused by the huge range of options.
Today I spoke to Brad over the phone to check if I can exchange the lights I purchased along with the chandelier and he was amazing. Very helpful
Botany Downs store rang regarding a fridge light was informed there was one. Upon arriving in the afternoon asking for a 15 w bulb I was sold a 10w I took it being assured it was ok. IT wasn't, getting the run around from the Manukau store.to get HO ph no, Called head office in Botany the customer service rep was too lazy to go and get a pen to write down my details instead telling me to email my details.disgusting. CEO called and popped in took the bulb back and refunded me, Saying he would find me the correct bulb and drop it in my letterbox. * (have a broken toe) CEO never heard back from you, appalling.

A returns policy that is not aligned with the consumer laws. Poor customer service from Botany not to mention the “absent” area manager! Will never shop here again!
