Little Bird Organics reviews
62I tried the strawberry glow smoothie, it’s $19.9 and it’s got lots of good stuff inside including avocado, almond milk, collegin powder etc
They actually care about peoples health and provide not only nutritious food for your body but the presentation delights your soul! Fav cafe in New Zealand by far!
First time here after searching top rated brunch places in Ponsonby, service is very friendly and amazing, love the set out of the place, great atmosphere etc, the food menu is very simple, there’s not a lot to choose from and the food itself tasted average, with such high reviews, I excepted wow amazing food… there’s a lot of drinks selection and I really like the smoothie.
Our go to in Auckland for breakfast! Love the speciality drinks and good coffee and the food is delicious.
Love Little Bird and everything it stands for. However, ordered a Tiramisu Cake for a function and was a little disappointed. It wasn't Tiramisu, it was a Coffee Cake. Even though I'm a fan of everything coffee, I left half the cake with friends. It wasn't great. Ironically, had Tiramisu in a take-away cup from another vegan baker and it was amazing! Shows it can be done.
A stylish vegan restaurant in Ponsonby! I've never been very impressed with vegan food, so I went there without expecting much, and it was delicious!
More than anything, it's something to enjoy with your eyes. The food was beautifully and vividly presented with care, and the vegetables were juicy and fresh! There are many types of drinks, and you can try some unusual ones. I like that it defaults to nut milk or soy milk.
The staff are very friendly and it's a cozy cafe experience. As expected of a city! It was the quality of service, food, and atmosphere of the cafe.
I feel like it would be in Daikanyama or something like that in Japan.
Location is great: in the middle of ponsonby. Staff is friendly and very efficient. Food is a bit pricey bit portions are big and very tasty. Highly recommend.
Nice little vegan place in the middle of Ponsonby. Can get busy. Staff is friendly. Food is a big expensive but it is good quality and portions are generous. The seed bread with mushroom sauce was great. The kumara pancakes was very good too. Highly recommend this place.
We had Vietnamese crepe and taco for brunch here.even though I'm not vegan. I need to admit that the taco dish was nice but Vietnamese crepes is a bit disappointing. Food display was beautiful and it said popular dish.but the sauce was too sour, I can't taste any sweetness cause of "crepe". If I give a little bit of my opinion, if they have a bit more maple syrup in sauce or on the side, it would be great.
*Atmosphere and staff were so nice
Smoothie is so healthy and unique, I liked it
Absolutely yummy breakfast, I would recommend their acai bowl or one of the specials on the board!
The lady who served us was friendly and was happy to answer questions about what health foods they had.
It's a great place for a plant based option.
I enjoyed my food very much. The cafe environment was lovely and the staff were friendly. They also have a lot of salads ready to go with nice options of sweets from the cabinet as well.
The smoothie was lovely. We enjoyed it very much.
I would recommend this place. Just try it you'll love it.
I like this place and will be returning! My favourite item was my strawberry goji berry smoothie, recommended by the waitress as I couldn’t decide between too many yummy options. My friend and I had a nice time here and I’m looking forward to visiting again.
I've visited this cafe maybe four times over the years and I can say that the quality has not dropped. The service, food, and staff have always been great. Excellent coffee and beverage selections. Highly recommended
Good atmosphere, although I think all the steps made it very difficult for the wait staff to do they're jobs properly
Firstly: Mums, do not come here. There is NO CHANGING TABLE in the bathroom. I had to change my baby on the floor - gross.
Secondly: there are a few very kind people who work here including the chef, who is totally lovely. But on the whole, the service is horrible - nasty people who try to hide their rudeness behind the yoga health vibe.
A couple weeks ago, we came in for lunch. Not many free seats, but an ideal spot on the end of a big table with plenty of space for our pram. The server actually told me that we couldn't sit there because some crazy old ladies who were on the other side of this huge table didn't want anyone else there? ! Because of Covid.so you'll turn away paying customers because others would rather keep those spots empty? Meagan May, do you realize this is happening?
The staff are regularly aggressive and hostile. One server told me - without any promoting - when I was a few weeks away from giving birth, that she didn't like babies. (Fun!) I've accepted the fact that my husband is a way nicer person than I am, so I usually nag him into doing the ordering and all communication with these people, as I'm more likely to lose it. But even he came away today saying, "I think these people just really don't like us! "
Thirdly: the food is incredible. We go here too much for the food.it's this vicious cycle of hating the staff and experience, vowing never to go back, and then getting the most delicious food. But how can you enjoy it when you are so angry at the way you've been treated?: - (
This has become one of my favourite restaurants. The food is so delicious that you almost forget you're eating vegan. Their desserts are so awesome, especially their pumpkin pie.
They make the amazing soups. The other day I had a Thai style beetroot soup and it was the best soup I've ever had!
100% recommend. Not giving 5 stars only because they are quite pricey!
Excellent menu and lovely staff in a cosy little spot tucked away in Ponsonby.
Coffee and smoothies are awesome, especially the "Magic Mushroom Mug" with a shot of coffee.
Great find.
Lunch for two.
All other seats taken - popular.
All vegan and GF food. Heaven!
Premises and staff good.
Food well prepared.
Other food able to be purchased off the shelf.
Thoroughly recommended.
This is such a warm, snuggly cafe on a cold day. Love the food, it is so unique and delish, there is nothing like it in Auckland. The Kimchi Pancake stands out for me. The servers are super friendly and calming, but do not come here if you want a quick bite. It takes a long time to get seated, get a menu, get served and it is russian roulette as to when your food will come out. Settle in and enjoy the ambience!
A delightful little cafe, coeliac certified which was amazing. Really lovely food and coffee. Staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend!
