We sold our house with Kevin Desilva late 21 and Kevin asked us to do a review.
Kevin worked hard to get our house sold but over the process I felt he was working more for his own interests than the vendor.
Things like a poorly placed street sign, failure to arrive to first viewings on time with alarm going off, failure to present the property in the best way possible by arranging the staging props and instead leaving them piled on the floor, lack of timely buyer feedback when needed for considering an offer. Apparent lack of or a reluctance to offer professional advice or opinion when needed eg "this could be your rocket ship" was the professional advice on whether to accept an offer preauction and not really explaining what would happen next.
Only wanting to book an auction for the soonest time rather than to ensure other bidders were ready or on a requested Saturday until we made it a condition of accepting the offer at all After preauction offer was accepted, wouldn't send an acceptable clear email to potential buyers until the issue was escalated.

The house did sell quickly and the price ok although not amazing. However, felt I needed to push a lot to ensure to our own interests were met. Also from what I have seen and despite my experience, Kevin is still a better agent than many.

We employed Kevin and Charmaine to sell our property in Mission Heights. Kevin was always a pleasure to deal with, he was open and honest and communication was the centre of his sales process, keeping us in the loop at all times. Kevin's point-of-difference was that he always followed through on everything that he said he’d do. He asked that we trust his judgement in getting us the best possible price, and he did just that by bringing us a triple multi offer on the same day. This was all the more impressive considering it was done during level 4 Lockdown. I would highly recommend Kevin and Charmaine as effective and proactive real estate agents.
