L'Oeuf

Fabulous eatery's like this are the reason I venture into the suburbs to eat. Food watching and envy as i gobbled my chille eggs thinking i want to try the waffles next time. Lucky to have a great chef.

I found this cafe when i was searching for a good cafe, l'oeuf didn't disappoint at all!

this has become my partner and i's new regular spot.the coffee is amazing, as well as the food.amazing prices for such high quality food.the staff are super friendly and work hard.i usually visit every wednesday with my partner and we are always greeted by the same amazing foh, talented barista, and two chefs.i'm so lucky to live 5 minutes away but even if i didn't, they're definitely worth a drive to visit!

This place is a classic. Glad to see it’s improved a lot in the last year. I ordered two coffees because the first one was so good. The chicken burgers were tasty, which my teens devoured. I enjoyed the eggs bene. My friend had the chilli scramble which she said was nice but not amazing. I tried some and it was fine but not that great. The service was lovely and the place had a warm atmosphere and clean tables! We will be back.

Sat outside and the staff wound down the wind shades to make us warm. Swift service and great food. A relaxed place to have Coffees and Teas with good pretty portions while watching life go past. Value for money and busy, we booked which was wise. Will go back in our group of 4 friends

I’ve been here twice and want to come back. Food is delicious and presented beautifully on the plate. Coffee is great too! And also love the dinosaur egg stickers:)

Lovely barista, great coffee, average cabinet food but the menu looks good. Great decor too and busy at times.

We are so lucky to have this great neighbourhood spot. The food is a bit different, and top knotch.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast and coffee.
Staff is very sensitive to allergies too, they do whip up something delicious catering to different dietary requirements!

The WORST customer service in Auckland. Ive been living in Mt Albert for 15 years and the people that use to own this place were lovely. The new girls on the till and who make the coffee are so incredibly rude to people. I come every morning to get a coffee and as a consistent paying customer I am treated so poorly. Very bad attitude. I would not recommend at all for people to come here especially tourists.

As usual, a 5 star lunch, was fortunate to be able to make a booking since I was taking my parents with me.

Pho, chicken waffles, chicken burger, and all day breakfast.

Great tasting and fresh food. Quality coffee.

Recommend the Ramen, nice texture to the noodles and the chashu was so tasty.

The service was as good as the food, which makes it a place worth visiting again.

The owner has changed and food is completely different from what it used to be. Only thing the same is the name. Menu is now muddled and uninspiring

The owner is changed, so does the chief. If you go for the L'oeuf, there's no such a cuisine anymore. And it's the first time I can finish my brunch as the mushroom taste weird. So disappointed, and they charged pay wave for some percentage.
I wish I had never go there.

This cafe shows the importance of good staff training, staff are always courteous & friendly, food & coffee of a consistently high standard. One of the best.

Their tofu geisha bowl is one of my favourite dishes ever, always enjoy the food when I come here:)

This is our local and we love it. Great decor, friendly staff and a laid back feel. I have not sampled the menu but the dishes always look unique and are apparently delish.

The staff were very accommodating to my request to slightly change the Eggs Benny to accommodate my Keto diet. Much appreciated and I will definitely be back again!

Coffees are nice.
Tried a salmon Geisha which is a salad bowl. The dressing was very tasty like Japanese soy sesame one.
Worth trying there.
Family friendly place.
