Great range and good prices. I had exceptional customer service in ordering all my tools and equipment and help with one of the products.

Regular customer and they have a great customer range but on last vist was in the shop for just over half an hour no engagement from Customers service team paid for my items with little conversion from the team wasn't the most engaging of experiences

Had a new lathe delivered today and installed. Absolutely fantastic service especially given that I am in a wheelchair so am dependent upon others for assistance with some tasks, like installing a lathe!
And the small Optimum TU2004V is a high quality machine.

Good stuff. I buy alot of things for my lathe here and its allways atleast decent quaility, ussually better. Good prices most of the time. I'm not the biggest fan of the company they choose to ship with though. Their are also a few products I would like to see sold such as reamers (not the adjustable ones) and slitting saws. Quick overview of everything I've bought and what I thought of it:
HM46-B milling machine. Great machine for the money, no real complaints. DRO install was easy, and they sell it pre installed if you want.

0-100mm 4 peice micrometer set. Good mics, work fine, very accurate. Nice box also

ER32 collets, a bit price compared to cheap import but they have proper quality controll.

125mm QCTP. Good quality, the bolt for mounting is easy to machine which I had to to install it. Very rigid and easy to use, and the style they use makes it easy to make your own tool holders. They say they have discontinued the regular tool holders, and only sell paring blade and knurling holders which isn't great

Indicator kit. Great indicator for the price, rubbish stand. I would only buy indicators that are the noga style one knob adjust. It had too much flex it it and locks took loads of force.

Emery paper/sand paper roll. Great fou use on the lathe, but ild allways follow up with 320grit dry, then wet.

Edge finder. Great for $20, I'm sure the pricer ones would work better though

Collet chuck and spanner. Great collet chuck, only complaint it that its too good of a fit and I struggle to get it out! The spanner isn't included with the chuck, so you'll need to buy one. They might include them with the kits that also included collets

Square works well. Once I get a surface guage and surface plate I will check it's flatness but seems pretty good.

Telescoping bore guages. They seems to work well and are accurate

Mill strap clamp kit. Fair quality, everything works well but the t nuts where a bit tight in my machine, and I had to file them down.

Files. Good quality files, cut well

Coolant. Works well

Tap wrench is OK, I managed to break it but I was putting way too much force on it, broke my Sutton one too so it's my fault not the wrenches.

Lathe HSS bits work fine, good quality steel

I recently wanted to buy a Christmas gift for my husband. I saw the item on the website but had trouble making the purchase. A quick email to the support team and my purchase went through and the goods shipped within a couple of hours. What a fantastic response. Prompt, helpful and courteous. Their customer service is second to none.

Your payment methods have created a massive barrier to my husband shopping with you. We do not use Paypal, or any of the other payment options where you pay for it over 6 weeks etc. For security reasons we do not have bank apps on our phones and therefore getting a code off our credit card statement in order to pay you by credit card is just too difficult. It is a pity you put so many barriers in customers way.

This is One the best in the business staffs are very helpful and friendly. I bought a TIG WELDING MACHINE and it’s cheaper to get it here then every other business company around Auckland.

So in case you need machinery stuff. This is it. Shop here 100%.

Brought 3 items from this place, a band saw, a bench planner and a spindle sander, , after using the bandsaw only twice the knob to put the saw guide up and down fell off I took the knob down down there and they said they didn’t know how to fix it, didn’t offer any warranty or to come fix it, this is a heavy big machine, they said I had to bring it all the way back down there, didn’t even offer to send a tech out to fix it, only had it for 2 months before this happened, very disappointed in the machine quality and the service…. Not good shame on you.

Massive show room, has everything you need. We purchased load skates and have done very well so far. Has big and small machinery needs. We'll suited for every industry.

Every time I have dealt with these guys we have had problems not shipping items, not being told that item is on back order or being blamed that I have received the item even tho I haven't then received the tracking number it didn't work. I wanted enough time ring up and asking for parts going somewhere else.

Great service, very helpful staff. Even if you don't spend thousands of dollars there, guys are professional and for sure I will be back.

Machinery house uses a delivery company that 1.requires you to be available for receiving 2.is unable to provide a date of when this would happen. Tradies are often not at their shops and need to plan to be available. Scheduled deliveries is standard practice for delivery of large machinery. If their freight company cant provide adequate service Machinery House shouldn't offer door to door shipping with them.

Huge place! A great visit for anyone, it's a toy shop for grown ups! You can get almost any sort of industrial machinery here. Great prices and they run specials now and then with online codes etc. Overall great experience buying online and picking up from the helpful ladies. A few of the guys here should improve their customer service. See my pictures of the showroom.

I ordered a lathe chuck from Auckland since there were none available in ChCh and had someone pick it up. They gave him the wrong lathe chuck a D1-8 and not the D1-6 I ordered. I phoned them to say they supplied the incorrect lathe chuck so the customer service was great, they got the incorrect one picked up and another one arrived the following day.

The problem is it was a different and cheaper product and they no longer stocked the item I had ordered.

Very disappointed they couldn't supply the item I paid for and I wasn't paying the increased price of the item I ordered for the cheaper item they supplied so returned it for a credit.

In a time when so much shopping is been done online many businesses websites are just not up to scratch. Machinery house is NOT one of these. Their website is 1st class. It is very easy to find your way around and you get taken to where you wanted to go. Their product description is outstanding and leaves the buyer confident in their purchase. The total service of this company from the time I clicked online until I picked up my purchase was 2nd to none. I cannot recommend them enough.
