As we know little about Peruvian cuisine, we had the tasting menu, and it was a great experience!
We greatly enjoyed our visit here to celebrate a birthday.

We had a wonderful night with friends. The service was fantastic we felt extremely well cared for. Food was great. Cocktails maybe a little too great but thats on us. Cant wait to return.

This place lives up to, and in fact exceeds, its excellent reviews. The staff are authentic, knowledgeable and attentive. The food is spectacular- best crème brûlée in our lives, sensational cocktails, and a tasting menu bursting with incredible flavours at every mouthful. And the decor and restaurant is understated yet intimate and special. All in all a wonderful evening in every regard. This will be our new special treat restaurant to share with friends. You must go! No, really!

I had a very difficult week and I had arranged to go to dinner with a friend from work. We didn't know where to go or what we wanted for dinner. So it occurred to me to visit Madame George. I was a little nervous because I hadn't made any reservations in advance. So when we entered the restaurant, Pablo's warm greeting and his excellent work team made us feel welcome. They accommodated us without problems and we tried the new menu that they just launched. I am Peruvian and every opportunity I have to visit Madame George never ceases to surprise me. We had an incredibly delicious dinner and top-notch service. Thank you very much for putting so much love and making each experience magical.

My friend and I were out later for dinner on K Road (21: 30) and thank god we found Madam George. Not only was their kitchen open and making food, they did it with open arms and giant smiles. Amika and Nathan made our night and their hospitality was beyond. Loved our experience here so much.

I had high expectations because the reviews were so great but I was a little disappointed. The service was extremely slow even though there were a lot of empty tables around, it kinda just felt like the servers had forgotten about us a lot. We didn’t get our mains until two hours into being there.the food was amazing but I think the prices were far too high for the quantity! Even the vege dishes were extremely small. Not sure if I’d go back.

Wow wow, food and presentation amazing, service next level, engaging, passionate and descriptive about each dish.

Had the most amazing day here doing a private cocktail class to celebrate a hens. Enjoyed a glass of bubbly on arrival. Jess, Nathan and Pablo was so accomodating to all of us (group of 11). Jess and Nathan were also very knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun. Not only was it a great experience but the cocktails were incredibly delicious! We also were able to have their yummy snacks. Would highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back soon!

Came across this restaurant when strolling the area and seen how busy it was, so we took the name down to make sure we booked a table there. That same night we booked a table after reviewing the menu.

This restaurant was more than we imagined. From trying Peruvian food for the first time but also dealing with an outstanding front of house his knowledge & his passion towards the restaurant & the food made us feel so welcome.

Pablo, staff & food were outstanding, we will definitely be back if we are visiting Auckland again. We will recommend to friends and family.

What a pleasure it was to dine at Madame George. From the moment we were seated, we enjoyed the attention of friendly, professional, and hospitable staff who ensured the evening’s success. This is a restaurant that gets everything right: great staff, superb food, wine and cocktails, with a casual and slightly quirky ambiance so characteristic of Auckland’s K Road. The cuisine of Peru is lauded for its history of fusion and regarded as one of the world ‘s finest, so a trip to Madame George is probably not complete without sampling Peru’s national dish, ceviche; the snapper version I ordered couldn’t have been more fresh and tasty. Highly recommended, a five star experience!
