I’ve never been one for complaining but I feel really done wrong by Mag N Turbo Northshore. On the 23 Feb I phoned in asked about a set of 4 wheels and tyres, Jayden helped me source the wheels and tyres I wanted, gave me a quote of $2100 for everything but didn’t say how much the wheels were nor the tyres individually I just got a overall price thinking when I arrived I’d receive a breakdown/invoice. Upon arrival I wanted to apply for financing as being I full time university student had just paid $4000 for my first semester aswell only recently just arrived from Australia after been stuck there for 6 days incurring extra costs that I didn’t plan to spend, all of this I had explained to the lady at the front desk. The lady had came back to me and explained that I couldn’t get financing at that moment and that I needed to get my banks approval and so on. At first I was shocked because I didn’t really want to pay in full at the time but I had already made the time and effort to drive out to the store, have the wheels ordered and delivered in specifically for me and I didn’t have any other free days to get them onto my car. So I bit the bullet and paid in full but only after paying did I receive a breakdown of the individual prices, and it was there where I was first upset because I saw that the wheels cost me $325 each knowing that Hyperdrive were selling them for $200.1 week (yesterday) later Mag n Turbo advertise a special on Nexen tyres “ buy 3 get 1 free”, the same tyres I had just paid for 4. So it was here when I really felt done wrong by Mag n Turbo because upon knowing the situation I was in and claiming to give the best advice and prices they still took me for a ride.

Mag n Turbo prices
X4 Orbit lotus wheels - $1300 ($325 each)
X4 Nexen tyres - $800 ($200 each)
Total - $2100

If I didn’t go through Mag n Turbo
X4 Orbit lotus wheels - $800 ($200 each Hyperdrive
X4 Nexen tyres - $1000 ($250 each) according to Mag n Turbo retail price Including Fitting and balancing
Total - $1800

$300 difference and they claim to have the best prices and give the best advice but cost me $300.
I’m mainly upset because I had hard earned money saved up that I wanted to spend on on my car but lacked the knowledge and experience to get the best outcome for me when it came to wheels and tyres and hence why I went to Mag n Turbo, but they saw this young inexperienced guy and took advantage of him to make a few more dollars off of.
Learnt my lesson and will now rely on my on research rather the going to the “experts”

Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. All the staff are so positive and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend Craig and the team at Mag & Turbo.

Can't rave about them enough. Super super attentive and friendly service and the cheapest tires I would believe you could get in Auckland for a Mazda Demio. So very highly recommend especially with anyone who has a Mazda Demio or small car. Mags and turbo is definitely my go to from here on out.

Craig and his team done a great job for my LC300, they even spray the brake to match the wheels for free, great job thanks guys

Mag and Turbo Wairau is the best. Got my guard rolling done there for an awesome price and staffs was very helpful and friendly. They gave me great advice. Looking forward to buying from them in the future.

Great service from Josh and colleagues at M&G Wairau Rd. Had a look at a could of wheel options before deciding on the ones I wanted.
Car was off and fitted with new wheels while I waited.
If you need new wheels plus loads of other things done trust the good folk at Mag and Turbo.

Nice guys but pray, PRAY to all the gods even if you don't believe in them, that you'll never have to rely on these guys for product knowledge & ordering. Only do so if you prefer to wait more than half a year and like being misinformed about product, that you'll have to call up the factory in another country to get the correct information.

If I could rate Craig and the team at 10 out of 5 I would! Genuinely helpful, will absolutely go the extra mile, and great banter. Have been here for 4 different services - mags and tyres twice, maintenance to my car and Guardex car protection - and every time they have gone above and beyond to make it an excellent experience.

Really appreciate the above and beyond service from Mark and the team. I had an issue (self caused) and they helped me out super quickly and went the extra mile, which they didn't need to do. Thanks again.
