Mamarich Café reviews
62Very good food. Reasonable price. Good service. Clean place. Lots of carparks. Fast serving.
There was no one in the restaurant and there were a few tables that were labelled as ‘reserved’ yet we are asked to squeeze at the small table. The food came fast and it tastes alright as expected. The paying experience was not as smooth because I was using my debit card yet it said ‘chip error’, so I swiped the card yet it picked up the paywave in the process, I could have just used the paywave instead. I have called my bank and used my same debit card at other place, it was fine. Oh well, bad luck.:/
Note: their loyalty points are also for online orders/take always only, which is a bit disappointing.
There were 3 of us, went there for dinner, the place was busy and we had to sit at the side of the restaurant. Food was good and service was also good
Parking is a bit of a problem as they have only a few for customers
Food is good but after that you just need to drink plenty of water. For some reason you get so thirsty afterwards.
Food is exceptional as always. Give them a go, they don't disappoint.
Thank you staff
It’s so delicious that I’m going to cry. The char kway teow and fish rice noodles are so good and the portions are good~ big
I hope everyone can go to eat and eat, maybe you will cry (not cry!)
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food- spicy but only if you ordered it that way! I had prawn wonton laksa which was delicious. Not too spicy but flavourful. Huge serving -actually enough for two people! I would definitely go again. Very authentic!
Love the hainan chicken rice, lobak from here is my favourite
Service is fairly good & fast
Always busy
Parking is very difficult to find as they only have a few spots.
You'll find popular Malaysian favourites here like chicken rice and fish collar noodles. I always get Hainan chicken as a main and chicken rice on the side. I literally eat this by my self!
Best laksa so far compared to:
Papparich
Selera
Uncle man’s
Sri Penang
Cinta Malaysian
Kk malaysian
E PACs vegan cafe
All the Malaysian restaurants in wellington.
Great shiok gravy, sweeter side but not as sweet as Selera. Has an egg, tofu, bean sprouts, shredded chicken without bones Been back many times for about 6-7 years. Other faves are also char kuay teow and kon low mee. Honestly everything’s pretty tasty
Nice ambience too! Prices on the rise as is everywhere else
As with most restaurants there’s always some better dishes than others. Their Kon lo mee and chicken rice plus laksa and fish head noodles in particular are good. Efficient service and friendly staff.
Exceed expectation for a delivery order, food is delicious, delivery time was fast and efficient, our food was delivered in a Porsche Cayenne! LOL!
Just all round yummy Malaysian food! Chicken curry laksa, mee goreng, Roti canai are all pretty damn good. But my absolute fave is the kung pao chicken - best I’ve ever tasted!
This is our local Malaysian restaurant and I can't really fault it. Good range of tasty dishes and good value.
WOW amazing! Highly recommend!
Everyone in family was happy!
Son loves dumpling soup
I love squid and egg plant
Husband loves Cary in pork ribs!
Don’t miss it!
One of the best Malaysian restaurants in Auckland.
Highly recommended Nasi Lamak with Beef Rendang, chicken Laksa and chicken Canai with rotti.
Beautiful kai, love the meals. Very busy on a Tuesday lunch.
I would split the laksa between two as there are a lot of noodles. Chicken corn soup is lovely. Avoid the roti - it's just from a frozen packet.
Arguably one of the best places to have authentic Malaysian food. Had the Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Beef Rendang here.they knocked it out of the park. Loved it. Came back within 2 days to try their Char Kway Teo and Gong-bao.
Authentic Malaysian food, delicious char kway teow!
Nice and clean cafe
Friendly staff
