Mangere Veterinary Clinic

I was recommended to Mangere Veterinary Clinic by a friend. Their prices are affordable and they have payment options such as Genoapay for more expensive but necessary veterinary treatment. Sadly in the last 2 weeks I've had to say goodbye to 2 of my greatly loved cats as they were gently put to sleep by Mangere Vets. One was 10 years old, a rescue when she was about 4 years old and the other was just over 15 years old who I'd had from a tiny 4 week old kitten Both were terminal, frail and failing fast and although I'd dearly hoped the vet could treat and save them it wasn't possible.

Best prices but not easy to get through if you're trying to call them and sometimes you have to wait (one time was almost an hour) even though booked appointment. Still my favorite Vet so far

Rachael was very friendly and she managed to squeeze in appointment for my baby Simba he had a Cherry Eye

I had my cat euthanised with them and they gave me the worst customer service.

To start off with, the receptionist is very unprofessional. When I called to enquire about my cat possibly needing to be euthanised as he was unwell, she interrupted my question, did not even let me finish my sentence and tried to end the call. There was no sympathy at all and I didn't even get to finish my question before the phone call was over.

When we dropped our cat off, the receptionist did not even acknowledge us standing outside. She was on the phone for 15 minutes and then when she eventually came to talk to us, she was very rude and blunt.we were there to get our cat euthanised, she could have at least more polite as we were already very upset with having to say goodbye to our pet of 14 years.

Lastly, the receptionist never called us when they received my cat's ashes. I had to call, and when I got there, she picked up my cat's zip lock bag without care from a pile and passed it over. There was absolutely no respect. Also again, had to wait outside and she gave me no acknowledgement when I arrived and she knew I was there.

I'm very upset with her and she clearly does not enjoy her job or customer service which is what her role is all about. Really bad look on the company overall and I can see other past customers have had a lot to say about her.

Haven't had the chance to use their services because they hung up on me, twice! Didn't even let it go to voicemail so I could at least leave a message/inquire about getting an appointment made for my kittens' vaccines as the website doesn't offer that option. I even caled during their operating hours! I literally waited on the line only to hear them pick up the line, pause for a bit and then hang up on me as I'm about to say hello. Bad customer service!

Friendly, cheerful staff. & knowledgeable staff. Approachable & explain the soituation.

Awesome service thanks and also not so expensive then all the other vets took our kitten laila here for her first jab and flea and de worming tab cost me $50 dollars unlike other vets $100+ happy kitten taking her back for 2nd jab call and make appointments they are awesome

Has always been amazing to my family, and when mum died the owner Rachel did everything she could to ease the pain by continuing to treat mums animals and letting me have stress free payments and now I take my animals to her cause she is the best, and affordable ️ ️ ️ ️ ️

It was busy on the day I came but they looked after our bunnies. Friendly and helpful team. I was recommended this place as they were cheaper than other vet clinics.

Rachel and her team are amazing. I trust them 100%. Rachel's approach instills so much confidence. My cat almost died from a bullet wound. Mangere Vets saved his life after the emergency vet misdiagnosed him. I won't be taking my pets anywhere else. Rachel deserves a medal.

Still 5 stars after 5.5 years. I have been bringing my fur babies here for 5.5 years now. We are moving from the area but I still will bring them here. For the past 5.5 years they have been wonderful as piece of mind for me and we'll being and health for my pets. I can always rely on this Vet Clinic for all my pets needs. My mini schnauzer had another haircut from Luke today who always does a fantastic job with her. He is so good with her.
Rachel and the team are always so extremely busy being such a popular choice of vet for so many. They really do care about our pets as much as we do.

Went there because my breeder recommended, remove stitches free, only $30 for vaccination, doctor so friendly also showed me how to put warm drop on.good experience.and only realize they also have clinic in onehunga which is much closer,
