Manuka Restaurant

This is my third seafood chowder during a week stay in Auckland. And the mussel was so fresh and tender it melted my heart. Garlic butter prawns were very flavoursome as well.

Manuka was great. Our daughter has dairy intolerance so my partner isn't able to do dairy due to feeding - these guys went out of their way to make sure the food provided didn't have any. The staff were all so pleasant. Can't recommend them enough.

Had a beautiful lunch with my daughter, the service wS excellent the staff were very friendly and the food wS fantastic and good price/value.
Had the potato rostie with bacon poached egg and spinich.

I've been Mānuka multiple times and we have loved it every single time. All the meals we had were amazing.

It's a Great place for lunch - I have never had a better clam chowder than I had here - eat here!

Perfect casual dining venue on the main street of Devonport. Superb food, good service, and a very comfortable informal setting.

Ordered brunch from here today, and while the food was nice, I was a little disappointed as what was stated on the menu was potato rosti with egg and cherry tomatoes, but when I was handed my plate it had ONE single cherry tomato. This has got to be a joke right? No thank you.

Quite a slow service. Half a dozen waiters busily walk forth and back, in fact doing nothing. Had to wait for a cake (readily available on display) for 30 minutes.

The food is great and the young people serving are doing their best. What seemed like the owner though really spoiled it for us. He constantly barked at his team (who were all young). It made us leave early.

Great food but service was shocking. Lady stuffed our order up. We waited another 20 minutes, only to find out she hadn't even corrected the order, let alone apologize for the mix up. Half of us had eaten and the other half had to reorder and wait again for their correct order. Really spoilt the occasion

Wow! What a place, when we got there at 1pm there was a queue of about 10 people and the restaurant was full. The owner said that there would be a bit of a wait. Within 5 minutes we were sat at a table and presented with the menus. Shortly after the orders were taken and drinks served. Seeing that the place was full the meals came quickly which was quite a surprise. All freshly cooked to perfection and tasting great.

Cakes and coffees amazing BUT the way the barrista spoke to the staff was disgraceful being dressed down in front of customers. She needs to be put back in her box.

The granola was literally a sprinkle of dry muesli on some cold bits of apple and banana with a little scoop of yoghurt on the side.

Pancakes were soft and hot, but they were so soaked in maple syrup that they mostly just fell to pieces. These also came with a side of cold fruit salad.

We were charged a 15% surcharge for a public holiday and another 2% for paying with a credit card.

I'd love to forget the whole experience. Can't believe how popular this cafe was!

Food was good, ice cream is good, table service is good, but when paying the gentleman in the pineapple shirt was not happy that my friends wanted to split the bill and made his feelings known. Not someone who should be in hospitality.but everyone else was lovely

They were understaffed and very busy, but managed everything so well. Food came out remarkably quickly, all considered. My food was delicious. Recommend

Great food. Ravioli, salmon, and the crudo were all amazing! Also, their Gelato selection is always on point.

The food was okay. Fresh salmon but not the green veggies. Ice drink was a bit overpriced, comparing with other cafes.

Blueberry pancakes are a must! So soft and delicious. 3 large pancakes. Just delicious. Great, friendly service. Would come again

Great food at a reasonable price, located in a nice location on the main street of Devonport. Lots of inside and outside dining areas.
