McDonald Property has been very pleasant to deal with and Mark, our property manager has always attended to our needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and organised agency.

As a general rule, dealing with property managers is about as much fun as a root canal with a pneumatic drill. Fortunately, not all property management companies are run by amoral, profiteering brigands who will tell you a series of horrendous lies before running off with your bond money. Some property managers are benevolent and personable. They’re honest. They’re proactive. They will fix things that fall apart. And they talk to you like you’re an actual person, not some grubby serf who should be grateful for any old dilapidated hovel. Even better, the routine inspections aren’t like an impromptu visit by the Spanish Inquisition, during which you’re harassed and belittled for leaving half a centimetre of lint on the living room carpet. The whole experience is, (and I can’t believe I’m saying it), vaguely pleasant.

This is McDonald Property Management in a nutshell. They’re an absolute pleasure to deal with, will take care of any issues as soon as they arise, communicate effectively and efficiently, and they’re just really, really nice. If you want a property manager who won’t treat you like you’re something they’d ordinarily scrape off the sole of their shoe, you can’t go wrong with David Middlemiss and his team. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We had the absolute pleasure in meeting one of the team in Hamilton this morning. Thru discussions it was absolutely obvious that these folks very much care for the properties they manage and the guests experience.

Have been with David and his awesome team of people for about 3 or 4 years now and I highly recommend going through them if you are looking for a home. They will not dissapoint and are always there to help.

Fast, efficient, trustworthy, they found me 2 amazing sets of tenants that have been such a relief to have had now for 1.5 years. Felt like they found tenants being as picky as I would have been. Obviously having options but they reall helped me choose the best ones. Would only use these guys!
