Meadow

Food was dry and over-cooked, restaurant was so noisy I couldn't hear the people right next to me and the glasses were dirty. Also no BYO drinks. Staff were nowhere to be seen, only one person walking around amongst a full room of customers. At least the staff are attractive (when they're there).

New chefs are in play Dec 2022 onwards, so expect some delays for food, management were great to deal with, some patience required but free drinks were a plus

Our team came to Meadow last week for our Christmas lunch and we had a wonderful time. They were very accommodating of our request to sit outside, which we really appreciated. The waitstaff were super helpful and friendly on the day, and the chef even whipped up a pavlova for us after the pavlova cut off had occurred. Thanks for a lovely Christmas celebration, Meadow!

Service very slow to take order.
Fish and chips. Fish batter was thin not fluffy and very dry. Chips were good.
Margherita pizza had no boccocini, basic cheese pizza you could get better at pizza hut.
Overall very average.

The Brioche French toast was incredible!
By far the best French toast I've had in Auckland.
Not overly sweet, perfect balance.

Delicious food, friendly staff and a lovely cozy atmosphere. The creme brulee is to die for!

Came here with my wife as we were hungry in the morning.
Very tasty, friendly staff, clean dining area and great service. Ordered bacon and eggs with mushrooms on side, delicious! Also we did try truffle fries with grated parmesan, surprisingly tasty! Many thanks to Jo & Team for bringing high quality service!

Never disappoints. (with the exception of today where I held the door open for two old ladies for an eternity as they wobbled down the steps, organised for the ramp to be unlocked for a disabled lady and then didn’t even get served and had to go to the bakery to get a coffee). Other than that, roses and sunshine usually! Haha?

Came here with my husband as we were hungry in the morning. Ordered eggs benedict and was really surprised by the taste. I usually don't eat poached eggs, but this one was amazing! Really soft and easy to bite muffin and bacon

Amazing local restaurant in the heart of Meadowbank. I've been several times with my wife and food and service are consistently great. You can tell the owners really care. The atmoaphere is great too.

Airy and comfortable. Great indoor/outdoor area. Excellent coffee and smashed avocado on toast. And great staff, attentive, helpful and not pushy. Will definitely be going back.

Last Thursday dinner was 10/10. Excellent food and service. The manager was amazing, she is very lovely. I will definitely recommend this place.

Oh my life! Just go to this place, they dont dissapoint. They are generous with their portions (I ️ roasts + I eat big). Honestly the best roast place the taste is fresh and clean plus the service is quick and friendly.this place is hard to beat. Just absolutely divine.

Mixed experience. Great, attentive waitress and really good calamari, however, very uncomfortable, hard seats; cocktail was really poor (very badly balanced) and I was annoyed that when ordering the burrata with nectarine it came with pear - don't have something on the menu if it's not in season and at the very least advise the customer of the change. I'm a big fan of nectarine in salads so was disappointed.

A tasty scone and a cuppa today at Meadow. Great service, probably helped by it being quiet but always nice to see a smile and have a bit of a natter. A nice environment to finish off some work on my way home.

Once again a wonderful meal and atmosphere at Meadow. It's become a regular haunt as it's consistently good and the crew there are great.

We had booked a table for 5: 30, when we turned up our table for 6 had been given to a couple who was “finishing up” so we were sat in the doorway until our table way ready. The couple who we were waiting on was then offered another round of drinks which the accepted. Meaning we lost out on our table for however long. 20 minutes later, the table we expected to be moved to, the table we BOOKED, was then split up and offered to another couple for dinner. So our group of 6 was left sitting in the waiting room. The staff was well aware of this situation as we were sit in-front of the bar. No one once mentioned our table was given away, and no one apologized for the inconvenience. If you care about service, skip this place.
