Been here couple of times and the experience has been excellent. The gents were polite and friendly.

Very Disappointed with the rate for car batteries as they only payed 5c per kg where as anothe deater up the road quoted 20c. A big difference so will be going to a different place next time.

Old islander guy who gives quotes needs to take a chill. Always rushing you around and tells you to hurry up and quickly leave the place almost got into accident with another truck coming from other side made me panic.

I've been using this place for about fifteen years and had always considered them to be fair and reasonable. However, the last four times I've been there I've noticed discrepancies between what I dropped off and what appeared on the receipt; a few kgs under here and there, incorrect prices (e.g, data cable instead of TPS), etc etc. I wasn't overly bothered by it at first and, due to the good history, gave them the benefit of the doubt and put it down to inadvertent errors. But when I checked the receipt from my last visit I noticed that they had paid me for only 2 kgs of something that weighed 13 kgs on their scales - that's ~15%. This particular example saved them $33. I then realised that the whole operation is orchestrated in such a way that potentially enables them to get away with this time and time again, without the customer noticing until it's too late - the document has been signed and you're out the door. It's a fairly rapid experience, and seeking clarity on what pricing will apply to your products before unloading them certainly isn't met with encouragement. Whether all this is in fact intentional or not is speculative, but how many times does this happen in a given week I wonder? Upon asking around I found other people with similar experiences.

Went here to get some stuff for a school project and was very satisfied with the response from them after getting in contact and the help they gave us. Also very happy with their service and what we got. Would recommend.

Been going here for a few times to sell exactly the same scrap metal each and every time. When dealing with the guys the always give different prices.once is was $3.50 per kg then $2.80 then $2.00, after they think they are doing me a favor by giving me money, I will never return and they lost a customer by being greedy.

I've sold alot of scrap here & these guys consistently have good purchase prices. Today they helped be obtain some brass flatbar stock for a home project. Very pleased.

If it is not registered, it is bought at a very low price. The scrap buying place in the south is more expensive and makes it better. I will not go here again.

The management staff have always been efficient and helpful over the phone explaining the whole process and any cost involved upfront. Prompt email replies and thorough. The team onsite was professional and capable of working in fairly tight spaces.

Absolute scam of a company. We took 550kg of stainless steel to them (we had about 20 desks which equated to 550kg). We told them and they agreed that it was stainless steel. We offloaded the truck and they ended up giving us $26 for 'metal skirting' rather than the 70 cents per kilo of stainless steel. When we brought this up, they decided to try intimidate us. Would never go there again, I've been to plenty better places out west. 0/10 scam.
