Updated 6 years on and the door is still going well. Another brand gave trouble from the start.

What a terrible and dishonest company! They installed me a business remote control rolling door which could not be opened or closed manually. When I called the company after the door was stuck, the Indian lady told me in the phone that I would got charged if she particularly sent a technician for service. If I could wait for a few days for their man who happened to work in this area, she could send him to check for free to save me some money. I did as what she told me to. The door was working fine when their men came. They told me I needed to change the motor. I called the company almost everyday for a quote but was ignored for around 3 weeks. The door worked well since then so I did not take the quote eventually. Now I received a bill from them for the door service. I paid the bill but would definitely avoid any business with this dishonest company in the future!

I have always found Metalbilt to be professional, friendly and reliable, I have been using their services for 10+ years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and their products.

The doors are so badly made that even in light wind they slam around and make so much noise you can't even hear the person next to you. See the video, to get a picture of how bad it is in light wind.

Would not recommend these doors to anyone, they are so loud you can hear them through two gib lined walls.

They do not honour their warranty.

Their sales person William Hall, is the most rude and arrogant person I have ever met. In explaining the issues with the door in a calm and reasonable manner, he screamed at me to shut up, then stormed out and drove off.

I have been using Metalbilt for many years on several buildings, their product is one of the best available in the market and strongly recommend them. I found their staff to be very helpful and friendly. Further to the rattling roller door in the video, if the door is fully shut it would not be that noisy. Maybe get a professional to adjust the close limits on the door.

The guy with the noisy door, may have chosen the wrong product, in relation to noise, however he may want to adjust the limits so it closes properly.

Poor installation, very rude on the phone.terrible customer service, refuse to honour their warranty. Total cowboys, avoid at all cost!
