Reliable, friendly service. The team at Midas Manukau demonstrate sound knowledge and skills and can complete any job to a high standard. Have been bringing my cars here for years. I appreciate the transparent communication and regular updates during service. Would highly recommend!

The fact that the team in Manukau were friendly, explained the repairs in simple terms and were to the point about what needed to be done. Easy to deal with.

Avoid at all cost. Not sure how a 550$ service didn’t seem to include any coolant top up whatsoever, considering when I arrived home after picking my car up coolant tank was almost empty. No leak identified in their “Peace of mind” inspection either. Also they might want to take oil leak repairs off their website as if you have an oil leak and it has leaked in your engine bay they refuse to touch it citing environmental laws. Not sure how many customers come in with oil in their engine bay wanting an oil leak fixed or at least diagnosed, as displayed on your website, and get turned away. Won’t be returning, seem very lazy and cash grab.

Extremely poor service from the workshop manager, car had been taken in for wof and a quote to repair an electric seat, the wof was done but seat wasn’t looked at, they were lazy, quoted a replacement seat for $700 and charged diagnostics. The car had been there serval times and only 3 months before this incident for a service, it was not due but the decided to service the car even tho they did the previous service and in their books it was not time, the workshop manager tried to charge for the service but luckily the receptionist remembered what was asked for. On top of that they chain to spew slide in European vehicles but put the wrong oil in my Mercedes’ causing it to drive very badly, I would not recommend these people to anyone, they are lazy and try to con their woman customers and do not like it when people have complains about their very poor quality of work

Service is always on point and car always feels amazing after leaving you guys. I still travel to you for services and car maintainence, even after relocating to Whangarei. I think that in itself speaks volumes of the amazing mahi your team provides. So grateful.

I felt taken advantage of by this team as they told me I needed a diagnostic done on my car before repairs, however I had taken a wof repairs sheet in with me. They charged me $178.25 to tell me exactly the same information I took in with me from VTNZ.

They then quoted me what I felt was a rather large amount for what needed to be done, then upon getting quotes from other mechanics I was quoted less than half the price by each and none of them required me to have a diagnostic done as I had my WOF papers with me.

I suggest anyone shop around before having work done here.

Had front rotors and pads replaced. Cost $1200. After 6 months squeals worse than a rubbish truck! Took back 4 times, claimed no problem, even after videos and test drives. Took to 2 other reputable places and diagnosis was cheap pads that wore 50% on hardened rotors.have taken elsewhere, and sorted!

5 star service! The service was efficient, transparent and affordable (best part!). The customer service was great - the receptionist was warm, inviting and friendly. She was upfront about how long the service would take, costs and kept me updated on things with my car. The staff are knowledgeable and reliable. I’ve found my new go-to. Thank you Midas Manukau

5 star service at Midas Manukau for my visit on 2 Feb 2022
1. We've used Midas Manukau for last 3 years on our 3 cars and they always do a high quality job.
2. Ange the office manager is an asset, so honest with the quotes, super welcoming and calls with updates with prices before any work is done.
3. Prices are relative. Midas Manukau are better than AA as their great customer service is well worth the change, honest quotes and top quality workmanship is priceless. We were with AA Manukau for 20 years prior to the move but the deteriorating customer service and the repair prices were getting excessive.
4. Efficient service - I dropped my car at 8.30am & it was ready at 1pm.
5. Free service - after repairing my car they took my car to VTNZ next door for my VTNZ wof recheck.
6. Happy with the Midas Manukau branch only Brake special. It is for one set of brakes i.e. Front brakes or back brakes special for $360 + gst = $415. My front brakes for my my Honda Fit are super happy.
6. Also fixed were 3 light bulbs, 2 wipers replaced, interior clean of my 2 front headlights to pass my VTNZ WOF for $145 all included gst.
I'll see you for my next service.

Thank you for the kind service! The receptionist is super lovely! I didn't have the best news about my car but that was no fault to anyone at Midas. I feel sorry for the receptionist who has to deliver bad news, she probably doesn't get the best response from customers but she's definitely just doing her job and she's super nice about it! I feel better knowing that my car is now safe to drive:) Thank you!

I have car anxiety and the whole process was just so bloody swift, cool and collected. Everyone looked happy too! The office manager Angie was so awesome, kept me updated about the car, offered to do my WOF, and her positivity was just so infectious. Service was done in a timely and reliable manner. I had a great experience at Midas Manukau. Your receptionist is truly one of the greats. From the greeting early in the morning, to organising a courtesy car (even though I didn't really qualify for one), to keeping me updated throughout the day in regards to the diagnostic/repair of my vehicle. The crew who completed the work on my car also did a amazing job, it was diagnosed and repaired in an efficient and timely manner.
