I have visited quite long time ago for oil change. My problem was not asked regarding the price. Although I have changed my car oil for 100 to 150 many times, they requested 300. I bargained but they did not accept. When I parked my car and went out, later somebody called me and told me that my car has many problems including a problem that it will not start smoothly in the morning. I told the guy that I have been using this car for more than a year and I have never seen it had problems with starting in the morning. I told him just change the oil and they did, but took my 300 because of just the oil. After that the next day my car getting problems of not starting properly sometimes. Every week many times I connected my car to jumpstart and finely I bought another battery. I really don’t know what happened to my car’s battery after that. I never recommend this shop.

Great service, as a person that is too busy to maintain all my vehicles myself, I'm happy I can get servicing and repairs done in a workshop where the mechanics go the extra mile to make sure your vehicle is safe and running well and point out things that require attention.

Excellent service.they had my car ready when promised, told me what i should expect to need by the next service and the price was very competetive.they even vacuumed the inside for me.highly recommended.

Beware. This garage told me I needed to replace my cars brakes and rotors at a cost of $2000. I got 4 quotes half that price elsewhere and found out the work wasn’t even necessary!

Very bad experience with Midas Mount Eden. Took my vehicle there for a WOF, and got failed based on a laundry list of repairs ranging from serious to trivial, and got quoted $2400 - $2700 to fix all of the issues. I asked them if these repairs were necessary to get the WOF, or if they were recommendations/warnings of future work, and was told that they were essential for the WOF and they wouldnt pass us unless we did all of them.

Based on the value of the car it didn't make sense to get repairs at that price, so we took the car to a different mechanic for a second opinion. The second garage fixed a few of the critical issues and passed the WOF - they also recommended that we get a bunch of repairs over the next year (many to the ones brought up by Midas), but noted that they weren't significant enough to fail the WOF based on. Even more, they also quoted us $800 for the repairs compared to the $2400 which Midas quoted.

Dealing with Midas felt like they were weilding the WOF failure in order to con us into massively overpriced and unnecessary repairs (almost as much as the price of the vehicle itself). I would advise avoiding them at all costs unless you are very knowledgeable and can challenge them in person.

Went for a wof, told me the brake problem and the lamp moisture problem. Quote over $1200, I rejected and paid for $120 inspection fee and failed Wof, I went to another shop, they helped me check my car, just need to replace brake pads and wash the lamps, cost less than $500. So Midas is so unprofessional, take my time and money got wrong inspection.

Sent my new-to-me car in for a service and to have a bunch of brake and suspension repairs done as per notes from a pre-purchase inspection. I received a call from Brittany within an hour of dropping it off to let me know a lot of the work I'd requested wasn't actually needed yet, and would be a large unnecessary cost. Thanks to their honesty and assistance I'll continue to come here for my repairs. These guys are here to help and not rip you off, especially helpful as someone who knows next to nothing about cars. Thanks team.

I had an issue with my car last week. I got a contact with Brittney and she told me to bring the car in that morning even though they were really busy. They made their assessment and gave me really bad news. Basically it's time to go to the scrappers. However, the team at Midas are so decent and honest, that it actually kind of made it OK. I would highly recommend them and when I get a new car, I'll still be going back to these guys. They're really great!

Charged me over $400 to replace brake pads because I was foolish enough to not get a quote first (Only the back ones too, not even all four like I had asked). Pretty disgusted in being taken advantage of like that and I hope they don't do that to anyone else again.

It's hard to find an honest and helpful mechanic. I was thrilled with the service from Midas Mount Eden.
I was having an issue with my car battery and needed to get it charged from a power source.
I messaged Midas Mount Eden and asked them how much it would cost. They told me it's a simple job that wouldn't be any trouble. They offered to do it for free.
Certainly wasn't expecting that response. It shows they aren't all about the money and are genuinely here to help their customers.

I would highly recommend the team at Midas Mt Eden they are friendly/knowledgeable and professional. I recently had my car serviced and they did a great job offering a full report and letting me know what needed to be done immediately and what could wait for a few months this gives me piece of mind and was very helpful to plan for future costs. Had an issue with the drive train in my Toyota Crown Hybrid, The team at Mt Eden Midas had it sorted in no time. Diagnosing that it was an issue with 2 of the wheels, in depth analysis of the issue and fast and friendly service made this a pleasant experience. Thanks again team
