My mother Isobel has been at Milton Court Dementia Unit for the past two and a half years. She unfortunately has to be shifted to a hospital unit now.
Can’t say enough about the care and empathy from the Manager and staff. My mother was very well cared for and the small dementia unit meant that our Mother was well known to all the staff.
Her preferences for her cups of tea and toast were catered for and her room was always warm and very clean.
Would highly recommend Milton Court to anyone looking to place a relative or loved one in Dementia Care ……. Very grateful for her care.

My mother was treated with the utmost dignity. She would love the Christmas parties with all the sing-alongs. Thank you lovely ladies for caring for Mum.

Our Father who had dementia was cared for by the good staff at Milton Court for 2 years. In every respect he was given the very best care and attention. I was in a position to visit him frequently and got to know the staff and management well. I can't speak highly enough of how they looked after him, how they always went the extra mile and were professional in every respect. A wonderful Rest Home that I sincerely recommend for those looking for the best levels of care.

My lovely mum has been at Milton Court for a few years now and over time we have gotten to know the staff pretty well. It's always hard for someone to have to leave their home and give up their independence but the staff at Milton Court helped mum to accept her new circumstances and talked her through the hard initial stage of acceptance. We are happy with mum being at Milton Court. She really likes the food, the staff are good to her and kind, and the other residents are her friends. The facility is small and homely with a lovely lawn/garden space which she utilises during summer. Initially she was encouraged to help in the garden and had other little jobs she could do as she always liked helping. She went out for walks with others and made the place her home. As she has become frailer the staff help her more but she retains a certain independence. Mum and our family are happy with Milton Court and the caring staff there.

I recently visited a family friend who has been at Milton Court for many years. The staff welcomed me even though it is 5 years since my father was there. They were wonderful with him even though he was rude and aggressive at times. He was in the dementia unit and they looked after him well in the challenging circumstances that happen with dementia. The lady I visited was told by the doctors they could do no more for her well before dad died, so It is due to the amazing care that she has had that she is still alive now.

This place ruined my mothers last years! They were rude, disrespectful to my elderly mother with the on set of dementia, to the point of turning her into a violent person and moving her on to a violent secure unit where she was repeatedly punched, kicked and pushed.and they medicated her! I bet a lot of violent dementia patients leave Milton rest home.the room they have inside is like a prison.they're not even aloud to go outside when they desire.horrible place.dont send your loved one here!
