Mitre 10 MEGA Albany

Yesterday I went to the yard to get some wood for a project I'm working on. When I went to the counter to ask if someone was available to help me trim the five meter lengths down a bit in order to better transport them in my car, I was told by one man they weren't cutting at the moment. That's when Ian stepped forward and without complaint got the 4 lengths I wanted and proceeded to cut them by hand into the 2 meter lengths I needed. I just wanted to give a shout out to Ian and thank him for his help and enthusiasm, I really appreciated it!

Terrible for click and collect they don't update their stock. I wouldn't go out of my way to this place ever again. They dnt even deserve a star

Yeah click and collect made me wait 50 mins for pick up. Staff very friendly but very behind in picking and packing don't bother

Was told to go to Albany for a product that the wairau store didn’t have only to find out that when I got there, the product wasn’t in stock. The attendant said this happens sometimes. Products get stolen and it won’t show in the system.

Uneducated staff. Discriminates against customers with disabilities and staff doesn't follow 2 meter social distancing further putting the customer at risk.

I was about to buy a $500 tool set for somebody as a gift from there. But now I'll never spend another dollar at ANY location.

If my staff ever treated a customer, with disabilities or not the way the staff at Mitre 10 Albany do, they wouldn't have job anymore.

There are many staff on the floor for sure, but not many to help with finding the items you want. Staff are usually talking to each other in groups and not easy to approach. But just reach out to them and they are friendly and helpful

Spotted a fan on the floor that I liked and it was on special, but there were no boxed ones. We enquired and was told it is the last one available, that is why it is on special. Promptly stuck it in my trolley to discover later it was nonsense. I could get stock elsewhere at the same price. I have no problem with floor models, but I don't believe they should carry the same price tag as new stock as they are "used". Otherwise not a bad shop. It was likely just a thumbsuck moment from the shop assistant, but it could have turned me off forever.

Largest range of products I've seen compared to other locations. Staff is always helpful and store is well organized. Adequate parking

More stuff you didn't know you needed for your home as well as the things you are looking for, garden, interior, plants and tools, the place to go for finding ideas and things

Discriminating staff that targeted another customer and removed them for not wearing a mask.even tho they had and displayed a mask exemption.

Very bad service with click and collect. They kept me waiting 30 minutes in the queue and then told me I'd better to enter to the store and buy the products by myself.

Absolutely disappointed with the staff at Customer Service in Albany and a staff member from water blaster section. Complete let down and stark contrast to the standards mitre10 promise to adhere.

Had everything I thought I needed and more besides. Helpful willing staff. Single line queueing system for multiple checkouts, very fair, and not a long wait.

Incredible service! I purchased a bath over the weekend and by no fault of anybody's, it didn't have the clawfeet with it, so I got back in touch with them, they apologised and assured me they would have them sent out to my house asap, I did not expect them to arrive the next day! Especially during the Covid Pandemic! The bathroom team have been amazing, will definitely be back next week for some more items!

Was looking for the tools that my hubby was after. Staff helped me to find it in an instance. This was a year ago.

Purchased the wrong light bulbs over lock down and was able to return them no problems.
