Nayna from the kitchen & bathroom section is just amazing - she's super knowledgeable and helpful. We've purchased a few things from her and every time she provides great advice on getting the best products at a great price. She's also always very friendly and bubbly.

Thanks Nayna!

Very racist and helpless customer services. First time in last q
10 years experienced rasism for under 200$ product. Very poor mentality and customer services.

I bought lawnmower from mitre10 New Lynn,
One of the team specialists suggested me the right one for our lawn.
Great customer service

One star is not even worth for their online customer service.
Not answering the phone, no reply to email. Not ready to sell items online.
Aliexpress would be better.

Wide range of materials and goods. The young lady in plumbing had amazing knowledge and her customer service skills are excellent. The young guy in tools was also top notch. Support kiwi owned readers.

Really bad experience for click and collect during covid. Super slow team, no response, line was till the main road. They could have just copied bunnings.

Waited an hour in line only to be told 2 out of 3 of my order was out of stock as they don’t sell it anymore! Why have it on the website available to add to cart if it’s not available? Can’t believe I sat there in my car wasting fuel when they could have called me to tell me since I had my phone number on the click and collect order. Waste of time.

I do like the store and the sales team, but I think it is really hard to sort out problems about broken tools. If you give a call asking about a broken tool that they sent to be fixed, they just transfer to one department, but they never answer the phone. There is no kindness at all, they just transfer without say anything. The call just end after a few seconds. So annoying.
Normally they take so long to say something and that's is so frustrating!
Terrible after sales!

Bought a Stanley line trimmer from here today, the Guy that helped me was really informative and helpful and knew exactly what I required. Keep up the great customer service and product knowledge.
Well done Mitre 10 you've done it again

Went to new lynn mitre 10 to purchase an air switch for an insinkerator but was told that the one on their shelf wasn't the right one, I asked them if they could find out which other stores had it.
They found one at Westgate mitre 10 but when I arrived it was the wrong one even though they were told which model it was for, after finding the right one, noticed that the same one was at new lynn and could have saved myself wasted time and travel.
There is a lack of knowledge from certain staff and I can imagine slot of customers are given the wrong info and unnecessarily sent on wild goose chase.
Not impressed

I have a client that ordered a designed kitchen, she wanted me to remove and install the new flatpack.
I've installed many kitchens and bathrooms and generally have little issues.
This was dropped off by 2 guys, one was older and according to my client wasn't keen to help with taking up to a second level, unfortunately I wasn't there at the time.
It was approximately 4 weeks later and because of the flatpacks unable to check off and where it was stored was pretty cramped, this was organized way before lockdown, when it came time to assemble cabinets and install found a few missing items, this discovery was found until the recent lockdown so as early as possible notified the kitchen designer band was told that the components would hopefully be in the following week, I required other items which they have in store but trying to get hold of them is proving impossible, even no response via email or ph calls.
I know they are really busy but no communication is not on.
I'm now to the point of no more progress and my client unable to move back home as she is away to give me full access.
These emails sent 2 weeks ago and several ph calls not answered

I had a timeslot. I arrived early. Order was ready in and out in under 10 minutes. Big thumbs up. Came all the way from Papatoetoe for customer service

Click and collect is a nightmare, it seems like there was no planning or preparation lockdown and trying to order anything from the trade desk is horrendous. It took me over 6 weeks to get someone to finally process my order for a single piece of timber they confirmed was in stock and when I went to pick it up I waited over an hour in a queue.

An absolute shambles of a click and collect experience during lockdown. It's actually not possible to get hold of anyone at the store should you need to change your pickup window. Initial phone support is quick to answer and helpful, but they actually have no structure in place for dealing with customers during Lockdown and the phones at the branch go unanswered. Emails are ignored despite the confirmation telling you to contact them that way. Phone support girl said "they're really busy" but please. It's not hard to have one person to handle booking queries. Not to mention counter productive because now I'm going to let you assemble my order and not show up, forcing you to restock it and refund me. Good job.

To the young lady who served me at 6: 30pm (all I'll say is wheelbarrow handle!), brilliant customer service, exactly the right attitude to have. From a head of customer service in another business

Waited 2 hours for a click and collect. By the time I got to the front of the queue they told me that they didn’t have half the things that I ordered in stock. If these items are not in stock, the logical thing is to notify the customer to come back at a later time or not have them available to order on your website?

I feel so sorry for your poor staff, so badly treated, overworked, understaffed and paid unfairly. I will be going to Bunnings from now on because clearly the Australians know how to do business better. An absolute shambles.
