Moda Kitchens

We are over the moon with our kitchen design from Moda kitchens. Best ever decision we made during our house build. It's out favourite room. We will be using them again for laundry and wardrobes too

Got a full kitchen make over for a cottage that we have on our property.
On paper the design seemed alright, however a couple of huge design errors which included the microwave being housed in a cabinet that did not allow for its door to open rendering it useless. These all became apparent when the kitchen was installed.

The shelving is far too long for tiny supports (5 small plastic clips the size of your small fingernail for a shelf 1m long), which has resulted in all the shelves warping and being unsafe to hold anything as they are constantly falling off their supports, despite being told that it would easily support a microwave and numerous canned goods.

We have called a number of times prior to lockdown to have this fixed and have been blown off. Communication with this lot is poor at best with noone getting back to you and the lady that we initially dealt with fobbed us off and refused to take our calls. We were due to have it repaired today at 10am, however noone has shown up or called and it is nearly 4hours past the arranged time.

Moda designed and installed our new kitchen earlier in 2020. They gave us a promotional discount despite us falling outside the end date of the promotion, and worked well with us to ensure we were happy with the final product. The kitchen was delivered and installed on time and to budget. The final product is both beautiful and functional.
The kitchen is New Zealand fabricated as well which is great. Some research was required in the design phases to ensure that codes would be met with the final placement of the appliances, but the designer helped us work through the product guides to ensure this would be the case.

We absolutely love our new kitchen! It is a small space but Chloe was able to fit everything we wanted into a design that's not only easy to use, but looks incredible! Communication was clear from start to finish and no question was too small. Everything was dealt with and responded to quickly and effectively (even despite having a lockdown in the middle of it.). The installer was awesome and did a great job. We are extremely happy and would unreservedly recommend Moda to anyone.

She ensured that timelines were met and that everything was done to our satisfaction. The delivery and installation team worked well together to give us a wonderful new kitchen- it is now our favourite part of this house. It was a pleasure to work with Ela and the team at Moda. Ela nailed the design brief, exactly as I’d hoped - our kitchen is beautiful. They also were the best priced and delivered on time and with beautiful finishing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend - I already have!

We had our full kitchen renovation done with Moda Kitchens. We asked for a few quotes around and they were the ones that came back with the most impressive first draft, very responsive from the beginning and answered all the questions we had. The designer (Tayla) always had a great recommendation or alternative whenever we were choosing a particular feature, and kept the communication between us flawless.

They delivered amazing results despite us having to coordinate not only with the electrician and the plumber, but also builders, floorist, tiler, appliances retailer, and plasterer.

The kitchen is beautiful and extremely efficiently accessorized and we couldn't be happier.

Great value for money too!

I had a full kitchen remodel with Moda Te Atatu. Initially impressed at the design stage, but from there everything went wrong. Communication was their biggest issue. I've lost count of the number of times installers have been back to try to finish it off.when they could get here as the first was sent to a street in a different suburb other side of Auckland, then calls/apts missed when they couldnt get hold of me when an incorrect phone number was given out and never corrected. Not easy to get hold of my contact to remedy issues, installers even getting frustrated. Measurements were off for the sink to fit into the cabinetry and for the drawer under the F&P dishdrawer. The benchtop wasn't cut right for the sink, one of the scribers was cut too short, then wrong a second time when installer went to pick it up, then installed a different colour to the rest of the kitchen but left in place anyway. A couple of other pieces also incorrectly prepped and had to go back. Bench measuring was delayed as jobs werent passed on. Edges were rough on cabinetry and I had to ask that they were smoothed off. The tap was faulty, first raised 3 1/2 weeks before lockdown and I'm still waiting today to get that replaced -hopefully tomorrow. I went direct to Blum to get inserts as they couldnt believe they were cheaper than what the designer quoted me when Blum sells wholesale to suppliers. Feel like a huge lack of respect for my time & trust me I was realistic about having a project like this done, this is just ridiculous.

Moda Kitchens were great to deal with, offered a fair price and produced a high quality kitchen.
Design Consultant Michelle talked me through all the options, spending considerable time ensuring the kitchen layout was perfect.
I was kept informed with the design, production and installation process at each step, with staff able to answer any questions I had.
I would strongly recommend Moda Kitchens and hope to use their services again in the future.

We were blown away by the level of service provided by Moda Kitchens, Penrose. In particular, nothing was too hard for Leo, who excels at keeping the customer informed. The icing on the cake was to have a new benchtop installed just 2 days after it was measured up on site. "Service second to none" while still definitely competitive on price. Why go anywhere else?

Moda have been brilliant throughout our kitchen renovation! Their attention to details/our requests, quality people & product, on time delivery and great value for investment - as a small family it has been an absolute all-round winner - we are so happy with ours and would highly recommend everyone to choose Moda!
