Moretons Bar & Restaurant

This was a great lunch. The food we ordered was excellent. I highly recommend seafood chowder and calamari- both with generous portions and reasonable prices. Or waitress Jessie was very helpful and her customer service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Was good. Left 3 messages to alter my booking to add one more person besides trying to change this online. No one returned my call. No avocado in my healthy bowl main as it was described in menu. With chicken the meal was OK but not great. For $30 there should've been some avacado. St. Heliers view always saves the day! Would try Porches restaurant first before returning here for dinner.

Kayla and jimmy are magnificent they are truly chur and amazing! They have immaculate surface and are always willing to go above and beyond for their customers! They deserve a raise!

Good spot for a drink and dinner, food was very well done and came out quick. Had Jimmy as our waiter and he was great! Awesome service

Great local, staff are awesome. Jamie wheats makes us feel welcome. Ash’s service was exceptional, she even ran after me for leaving my bag. Could do with more vegetarian options on the menu.

We have visited this local bar and restaurant a few times and have never been dissatisfied. On our recent visit, we went with a large group for a meal. We were put in a separate room, away from the rest of the bar which was nice because the bar was noisy. The room seemed recently renovated and had a lovely atmosphere. The menu has appeared to have been updated recently. From the food that my table got, I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation and quality of the meals. Everything was very big too.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat, a drink, or a sit-down meal. Its location on the waterfront allows you to sit outside and view the ocean if you wish, or have a more private dinner. My main criticism would just come around the noise level inside.

Closes if there are few people. Refuse to serve you at 911pm. Insist theres no customers so they are closing when you are actually a customer. Closing earlier and earlier. You xant actually arrive at any time and really expect them to not close on you.

Came into Moretons for a catch up with a friend and was amazed by the service. Kayla made some great recommendations and made us feel very welcome.

Waited nearly 40mins for brunch. We asked for our eggs to be on sour dough bread and we were charged $8 for it on the side. The eggs were hard poached and coffees very weak. Honestly the worst brunch experience i've had in Auckland.

Our waitress Ash was friendly and fast to bring out our drinks! Had a great afternoon enjoying the sunshine.

Just had the most amazing meal at Moretons. Delicious squid and chilli prawns and the broccoli was the most delicious broccoli have ever eaten. Lovely waitress Ash. Great experience.

Jimmy and Kayla were so incredible. They were so friendly and gave great recommendations of things to do in New Zealand!

Had high hopes but took a long time to even give us our menus and then food took a very very long time despite patrons who arrived after us receiving their food. Food was pretty good once it arrived though

Kayla and Olivia took care of our rather large table and were awesome. They were friendly and gave us awesome service. Hang onto those two. Thanks Ladies!

Came for a bite after a function and enjoyed the freshness of food and excellent service. Our waiter Jimmy was very attentive and we would definitely come back.

Really good bar food with amazing views of the sea front especially if your sitting outside.
We come here for the roast dinner with yorkshire pudding which was good and would recommend if you come here in a Sunday.
We got excellent service from our waitress Kayla who made us all feel all very welcome.
Moretons is a great place to watch live sports.

What's not to like about Moretons. There food is great, beers nicely chilled, fantastic views and the vibe is awesome.

When you goto Moretons, be sure to order the Seafood platter and the beer battered fries and don't forget the beer.

The service is also 10/10
