Mr Zhou's Dumplings

We went about 8.30, first thing the owner did was to look in to his watch. And we asked what time the restaurant get closed he said 9.30 when the board on the door said 10. There was no smile or no greetings. Dumplings was not the very best. Fried. Fried rice fried noodles was good.

I have tried so many places to find the best dumplings in Auckland and I found them here! The pan fried chicken and chives dumplings are so good, it pairs very well with their house made chili oil. We’ve also had their yang chow rice and fried pork and pineapple with sweet and sour sauce - taste, portion, price = 10/10! Have been twice and so far the quality’s consistent. Happy to have listened to others’ great feedback about Mr. Zhou’s.

If you want bomb dumplings this is the place to go.
The deep fried eggplant stuffed with pork mince is just incredible. Genius.

Food was amazing, great, quick service, and all for a very affordable price! Favourite dish was definitely the beef fried noodles. Massive portion sizes, so easily a lovely family feast vibe restaurant. Very attentive and good atmosphere in the shop. Chairs also had cushions on them which was a nice touch of comfort.

One of the best take outs in Auckland. Incredibly tasty, huge portions, and great value for money. Already planning on coming back, and who to bring with me to try it.

Great food and service. Pork and chive dumplings were very tasty, tiger salad was a fave. Crispy sweet and sour pork lived upto its name, super crispy and melt in your mouth pork. Highly recommend, looking forward to our next visit

Just had lunch (only customers there on a Sunday!)
Had the rudest service in my life by a guy that keep coughing and clearing his throat for the whole time we were there.
His attitude was the worst I have come across if that was supposed to be customer service! Maybe he would be better suited to a behind the scene role!
Been a customer for years but will never return again.
It was the Mt Eden road store I was there at lunch today and it did happen! We actually felt very uncomfortable he was that rude!

Pleasent, food was enjoyable, place could do with a freshen up.
If you like dumplings, give it a try.

Great dumplings i got the pork and chives! Absolutely loved the toffee apple dessert as well, a bit pricey for the desert but worth it in my opinion it was delicious.

I always enjoy getting takeaways from Mr Zhou's Dumplings - Mt Eden. The food is delicious, served quickly and reasonably priced. The staff is also friendly. The picture is of fried lamb with cumin and braised eggplants with brown sauce (my favourite dish).

Tasty meal and reasonable portion size. They don’t give you a printed itemised bill which is not great!

I come here regularly and food never disappoints. However quality of food has recently been massively let down by lack of service. Most recently informed in would be a 20 minute wait. Stood outside for a further 30 minutes whilst the order was prepared. Then got the noodles wrong. No apologies from staff, just appeared to find it amusing.

Ordered dumplings! I've always been weary of eating dumplings.what if it doesn't taste like the dumplings and momos I have had growing up in India. But, to my surprise, Mr Zhou's dumplings are soft, juicy and delicious. I had the chicken and onion fried dumplings - they were just perfect and I highly recommend them if you eat non-vegetarian food but don't like red meat. Do try them out!

Pretty disappointed. Ordered two plates (dumplings and beans) and a drink and only received the plate of dumplings. Totally can appreciate the busyness of this place but perhaps more floor staff would help with serving your customers and handling takeaway orders. With a better level of service I might have rated higher and returned. What we did get was delicious but was really ruined by this lack of attention and atmosphere. Instead we hit the BK drive through on our way home. Not the greatest Valentines date night

The food here was very good! Large portion sizes, good value for money. Will definitely come again.

Mr Zhou's Dumplings - Mt Eden

Dumplings were quite good but noodles were terrible! Not enough sauce, tiny pieces of chicken, not properly packaged for take away and overall very disappointing. Food was prepared pretty quickly but we won’t be back

Yum yum dumplings. I enjoyed my meal, and the kids had a super fun time. Get in early though, or reserve a table as it gets busy

We had a great group BYO dinner here. Good prices, highly recommend the coriander dumplings and sizzling black pepper beef
