Nanam Eatery reviews
75Had the buffet lunch at Father's day, and it was quite a long wait before eating (maybe 30 minutes). Almost everything was bland, and the food selection was very small (5 savoury dishes maybe?). For $70 this was disappointing. The pork lechon and the beef were the only 2 good dishes. Very disappointing as we've been here years ago and absolutely raved about it, so everyone had very high expectations. Maybe should stick to the Ala carte menu.
Went here at Nanam had some non pinoy with me and what a delight. Great execution and too be honest, price is cheap for the quality you get fresh desserts cooked on the day. Had fresh pandesal as well. Wow

Must try. Have attended their Father’s Day buffet. They have many choices for savoury and heaps of homemade desserts (felt like home with all the “kakanin”). Had to come back to stuff myself with their lechon - delish! Ohh and to start they have a complimentary buko juice with sago which is very refreshing. Thanks Nanam
My fave go-to Filipino restaurant, ever! Always a pleasure dining at Nanam. Chef Jess and her team always go above and beyond - the food is consistently excellent, and the customer service is personal & friendly, that they always make us feel like we are a part of their family.
My fave items on the menu are ALL the vegan options - but most especially the mushroom sisig, cauli bravas and the grilled eggplant ensalada. I always bring non-Auckland-based guests to Nanam as I know they will never be disappointed:)
Thank you always Chef Jess and Nanam fam for all the love and hard work you put in your food and service - we are fans!
See you again soonest xoxo
Nice place for a special meal, great flavours. Only downside is the price, otherwise service was great and a lovely restaurant space.
I wish we had discovered this place sooner. Nanam is incredible and will quickly become our go to date night spot. The food was absolutely divine, and the service was quick and super friendly! You have to get the Lamb Adobo Croquettas, Wagyu Sausage Longganisa, cauliflower bites, and the beef cheek. Firstly, that wagu sausage is to die for. I would eat that dish every day if I could. Even the cocktails were amazing - go for the Singapore Sling.
Such a great experience. Flavour was amazing, presentation was salivating, service was warm. Loved that they had great options for different diets.
Wish we could stay for dessert!
Eggplant starter was excellent. Gosh was most delicious, and staff so warm and welcoming. Food was outstanding and service very friendly
I've been here several times and I've always enjoyed the food! Exactly to my taste! Service is great and background music is fantastic!
The service was excellent and the food was even better. At face value the pricing seemed a little bit expensive but after eating there I think it was worth it. I’ve never tried Filipino food before but if it’s all like this - it might be my new favourite cuisine.
Interesting menu, staff were very helpful and friendly. Coped well with a dairy intolerance and even had a dairy free dessert! Food was nicely presented and delicious. Reasonably priced. Recommended
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff at the Takapuna branch. The service was almost perfect but it took over 10 minutes to get all the main courses on the table and there were only 7 of us. General consensus was that the food was very tasty and well presented, but the portions were ridiculously small - and not even close to the pics on the website. For $36 you would think you would get more than 3 small cubes of beef cheek in the kalderata. The bisteka consisted of a few slices of steak, which like the kalderata looked more like an average size starter than a main course. It's nice.but overpriced.
Fantastic service in a designer space, I love the baskets above the counter!
We ordered some Tapas for our table and they were all delicious. My favorite was the Cauliflower bravas, but the Eggplant and tuna ceviche were yummy too. The Bistek main was melt-in-the-mouth, although the portion was a little small and it needed a side to be a filling meal for one.
A pleasant place for a family dinner but we did find the menu to be somewhat constrained and in the end, pretty expensive
The jewel though for this restaurant has to be the service - the wonderful hospitality that seems to come so naturally to Filipinos is clearly evident here
Plates are well presented, tasty food. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit over priced, but worth it. For starters we wanted the grilled octopus and pork and it was unavailable that day… We had fish ceviche and wagyu sausage instead. Very nice dishes! Over all, it’s a nice place to try Filipino food.
Ate here with friends, wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, delicious food! Everyone left happy. Great mix of meaty and vege options, with lots of flavour
The food is delicious. Favourite item was the Wagyu Sausage Longansia. Service was amazing, will definitely be back here.
Nice environment, food was presentable and delicious and thank you for the great service. You guys are really well deserved with all the awards!
What a lovely place to eat. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious.
Can't wait to go back
