Niko's Pizza Orewa

I love to come there. The owner is always smiling, and his food is simply delicious. I feel super welcome.

Great tasting food! Especially the carbonara and the beef ravioli! Loved it.

The staff were lovely and friendly and the pizza and salad delicious. Unfortunately there was a very rude and grumpy takeaway customer ahead of us that refused to get up from the restaurant table for dine in guests. The staff handled it patiently and calmly and found us somewhere else to sit until she left.

We collected two pasta dishes and chips for take away. Chips were way over cooked. I love a few really crispy ones but these had been cooked a million times over and reserved. Both pasta dishes weren’t as good as they used to be a few years ago. Not sure we’d go back now. This used to be one of our favourite restaurants to go.

Great spot! Highlight was the carbonara and baklava. The ravioli was a tad salty, but that my only critique. Great staff and overall atmosphere.

Ate Chicken Mushroom Pasta, Greek Lamb Pizza, Greek Salad and Cheese and Basil Pesto. Chicken mushroom pasta was the best I've had in Auckland and everything else was very tasty. Will be back when I'm out that way again.

Food is always delicious, staff are friendly and the delivery option is a mega bonus. Portions are very generous also.

The most delicious food and the best pizza in Auckland by far. We had the Greek pizza, Niko Special, Spicy Chicken and the Napoletana. All pizzas were fresh, with good portions and amazing flavours. Ice cream was also a highlight and the staff are really lovely. Will definitely be back!

Got pizza, Greek salad and chips delivered. The food came promptly, fresh and delicious. Extremely generous helping of chips with great seasoning, the most beautiful Greek salad and awesome pizzas. Generous sized meals, don’t need as much as you think you do! Great service from the lady on the phone and the delivery driver. 10/10 and will be back again

If i could, i would rate it in negatives. He was extremely rude towards me and my family. I accidently ordered a mince pizza and later realised we can't have it. So i started by apologizing to him because it's obviously my mistake. But he started yelling at me, saying that it's not his fault. I agreed with him and said that i dont want a refund, it would be great if he could just keep the untouched pizza with him. It was just a request, but he was responding very rudely. He said he wont keep it and now it's my problem. I dont disagree with him, but he had no right talking to me that way. He made me look like a fool infront of all the other poeple there even when i was trying to be nice. My sister went in to ask if she could get some ketchup, she was yelled at by him too, saying that they dont give ketchup.

If you are going to talk to your customers like that, you better not expect customers anymore because no one wants to be yelled at by their service provider. The entire situation could have been dealt very politely, but he had to ruin my family outing with his degraded behaviour. It was either him being racist to me or he talks like that with everyone, neither of which is a good sign. Dont be fooled by his social media posts where he pretends to be the nicest person on earth, he's not.

Talking about the pizza, the margharita pizza i ordered was swimming in tons of oil. Picked up one slice and oil was running down my sleeves. Crust felt uncooked and chewy. For 20 dollars and a wait for 30 minutes, i get a so called pizza swimming in oil. I could have spent 7 dollars at pizza hut for a much better pizza in 10 minutes. In the name of authentic pizza, it was garbage.

Orewa beach is great and if you are after some real tasty authentic firewood pizzas, there are tons of pizza places way better than niko's pizza like downbeat and ship & anchor.

Best pizza place in town. Quattro is my favorite. Staff are very friendly as well. Deliveries are quick.

Visited this little gem for the 1st time. Great atmosphere! Staff were so friendly and welcoming The food was excellent. The moussaka was the best I have ever tasted to date. My kids have been asking to go back everyday. This has now become our favourite pizza/ greek food spot:)

What a gem of a restaurant. In Orewa, but felt like we were in Greece. Such wonderful, tasty food and friendly service. 100% recommend.

Excellent quality Greek pizza. Small place with only 5 tables and no reservations. A little pricey but great food.
