Poor customer service, slow to come back to you and don't answer phones. Sent my Ford Ranger in for a service and they lost my service book with the service history in it, 4 weeks on we still haven't received any update on it.

Where to start…

Super hard to get in contact with. Phones didn’t work once in the 7 weeks my vehicle was there and email responses super slow.

Ford Ranger went in for an issue of rough shifting between gears. Was told it needed a transmission rebuild. They did the rebuild, charged $6,000 and the issues are still there. Refused to refund it and are trying to charge me more to fix it.

Case has now been filed with the disputes tribunal. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible costumer service.
Took my car in last week and got it “fixed” for $700 (they also went ahead and did this without telling me the prices first), it broke again within the next week. I took it back, it’s been there currently 3 days and I’ve had barely any updates or communication. I called them 7 times yesterday and no one answered the phone. Extremely frustrating as I need my car back for work and there was no courtesy car and I would like to know what is going on! Absolutely shocking service and I will never be back.

Very impressive clean environment, I recommend the parts lady serve me very well, I forget to have the to promote her good work, she doing well what I want to see the axact part of my Ford Territory bolt joints, suspension joint, she look and she went for a few minute she came back, with printed paper on parts highlighted, that I would like to matching it, she did a great service to me, thank you keep up the lovely work, I do recommend the company by her good work ethic awesome.

Good service on my vehicle, decent pricing however the customer service ei. Communication was pretty slack.

I have been taking my Ford Ranger here since new, they do all my services, WOF's and bonus is they do the latest Ford computer updates. This upgrades the GPS etc. It is a clean, professional workshop with a welcoming waiting area. I have had a few issues (which happens in business) and when I raised them they were dealt with professionally and above my expectations by the manager Paul. Paul gets 5* himself for customer service)

Disappointed. I took my car to have the transmission checked. It cost me $166 and they said they would not check my transmission until I had addressed two other issues. They gave me a quote of $980 to fix these issues. I then took my car to a separate garage who confirmed (free of charge) that neither of these were a problem. I believe Ford are making money by creating unnecessary issues on the innocent customer.

Go to John Andrew Ford for your service.
I booked a "while you wait" service and was told it would be 2 hours. I sat in the waiting area for 4 hours Without any communication from staff. When I asked when my vehicle would be ready I got a "not sure I don't have any paper work yet.
Recommend John Andrew Ford. Used the past and will be going back even tho it's further away!

Call the customer service for standard full service pricing for my car. Call them few times, but no one can tell the service details. All the staffs saying their adviser will call back. No calling back at all.

We have 3 Fords in our family and our cars do not go anywhere for their services or any other services but North Harbour Ford. Their waiting area and workshop is spotless, their staff are amazing and always go out of their way to assist and I would think that Paul (Service Manager) is the glue that holds this fantastic establishment together. He loves cars and people and it shows in how they treat customers and their cars. If I could have chosen more stars, I definitely would have. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Never buying another Ford. Used to love the brand but could never find anyone to service them well. These guys were good, if expensive. Then I took my car in to have the thermostat replaced for an overheating problem. They replaced it and the car then had an intermittent issue where it would stay cold. Would have lower power and the engine was noticeably more sluggish, used more fuel and definitely cooler so it wasn't a temperature sensor issue. Took it back and they said couldn't find the issue. I eventually made a video of the car staying cold while driving. Phoned them again and this time they said they would replace the thermostat for free as I had been back a number of times.

Took the car in and they then informed me that they couldn't find a fault with the thermostat. Showed them the video and they then said they didn't have the thermostat in stock as it had been sold to someone else but if I wanted to pay for an express courier and a thermostat it would be fitted but would have to leave the vehicle there. They had said they would replace it for free and I would have thought they would reserve the part in that case. We argued back and forth but in the end they put it back together with the old thermostat as I needed the vehicle. The problem never resurfaced.

I suspect they had found an issue such as something dropped into the cooling system originally which was jamming the thermostat open intermittently and didn't want to admit it. This is my suspicion only though and they would not admit to that.

I was perfectly happy otherwise, even though they are expensive they appeared to do a good job but I won't ever buy another Ford after this as this totally soured my opinion of them. All it would have taken was for them to honour their promise but they refused. Due to past experiences with two other Ford Dealerships in Auckland skipping work and not doing services correctly I decided that I could no longer rely on the brand because of service department inadequacies.

Awesomeness had my sump plug, good polite fast service and since my plug on the car was stuck, they put it on the hoist and unstuck for me, no charge, so very grateful, will be back!
And Jessica was a true Professional

Serviced my car here earlier in the month. The team did a great job. The staff are friendly and when I misplaced my wallet the team found it and secured it for me.ill be definitely going back.
