48 I had the misfortunes of having my Toyota Prius written off recently. I purchased a 2015 Hyundai IX35 to replace it. I had previously had a terrific 2009 Hyundai Grandeur.
Both Hyundai cars had recalls for free remedial work and I appreciate being tracked down for the repair. During the recall work on the IX35 I figured a service and a wof to align both was a good idea.
The service and wof costed way more than what I was paying for the Toyota and I can't see what I got for the money. I always got a complimentary car wash at Toyota but nothing like this at Hyundai. I can now see why the previous company owner payed for Pronto Automotive in Devonport to service it from new at 6 monthly intervals or less than 10k.
I'm thinking this is the smart thing going forward.

Very helpful and very efficient
Bit disappointed with the service process. Communications were haphazard, our job feel through the cracks and we had to chase to get it scheduled in, felt a bit like we were being upsold on things we perhaps didn't need.
Very disappointing. The car was half cleaned. On the way to the service a bird deposited on the car. Some of the birds poo was still there but brushed over the side of the car when the car was returned
The window washer hadn’t been filled.
The dashboard hadn’t been cleaned.
Hopefully they did better with the stuff thats not so easily seen however not confidence inspiring. I took it back to show them and they said sorry and filled the window washer. There wasn’t an offer to clean the car.
I got the button on the charging door of my Ioniq 5 repaired, but it appears that the techs didn't test the unite after the repair. When I charge the car at home I got an error message. I had to take the car back and had to get an Uber to work and had to cancel an important appointment.
Nathan Kim as a sales person, was very helpful, informative, and responsive at getting back to me with any questions re purchasing my new vehicle. Very easy to deal with. Only suggestion is that perhaps information from office could be better managed as I waited several days for a trade-in price and also had to phone Nathan to request an invoice so I could get bank details to pay before collecting vehicle.
Overall, I am very happy with the level of service from North Harbour Hyundai.
Nice but over worked staff. I was sent an online pre service form about things that may need looking at as the car is one of their "Limited" models. Upon pickup the vehicle had not even been cleaned post service (most other car companies do this), the questions I had asked online about faults were not looked at. The over worked stressed service guy said (Oh that online pre service questionaire function doesn't often work). He said he didn't know the answers about things that didn't work and I should maybe talk to their sales team. I mean this is a Hyundai dealership and the vehicle was a Santa Fe which is one of their largest sold models. Pretty poor really. I constantly get texts from their sales people about maybe buying a replacement vehicle but why would I with that level of service?
Isagani Isaac, the Hyundai sales consultant who guided me through the process of buying a brand new car for the very first time, made the whole inquiry and buying experience stress free and was incredibly helpful throughout the process. He made sure I was well looked after, understood my needs and gave me the best deal. Having a kind and understanding sales consultant really makes a huge difference and I would happily go back to him in the future for investing in another vehicle.
Had vehicle investigated for a fault. They lost my car for 4 days and then failed to continously call back to tell me what was going on.
Tried to email them with a complaint and it was stopped as their system thought it was spam.
Only 1 star cos I can't give less.
Great service from Matthew and the crew, from the first viewing to when I picked the vehicle up. Highly recommend this dealership.
Matthew Norton was approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. We are enjoying getting to know our Ioniq and the joys of owning an electric car.
Kind/honest attention and useful information from Matthew and the team over the whole process from the first look, drive test to closing the deal and even aftersales (minor issue with the battery that was promptly solved at no extra cost). Fully recommend.

Initially was annoyed and frustrated at doing an online booking, asked for aSaturday at NorthHarbour Wairau Road Auckland, got a text to confirm from Hyundai Hamilton for a Friday, rang nice guy put me through to Wairau all booked as wanted, Got a phone call from Hamilton on the Friday needing to know where my car was. Never had problems when it was just North Harbour Hyundai. Service done car needs to go back when part arrives. Nice pleasant staff, always have had good service.

A fantastic dealership with a wide range of vehicles for all potential customers and friendly and helpful salesmen who don't feel the need to pressure you into a sale. Recently bought a 2021 Hyundai Kona off of Ian, who was genuinely interested in my needs for a car and was knowledgable and friendly when it came to finalising the purchase. The parts and sales departments is quite disjointed in respect to cooperation. I will not be updating to another Hyundai.
I had the most thrilling experience thanks to them. Had vehicle for servicing earlier this week. I think a bolt or joint didn't get closed right as there's oil leak (the car is 2019 model at 30000km). So when I thought I had a fair km to the next oil station on a motorway.nope. I made it but only with 10km left in the tank.
2 stars as it's a one for this exp but the previous service was ok. Getting into contact with the service dept after was a nightmare.
After this car, I think I would change to tesla just from this experience alone
